Josh Taylor to KO Jack Catterall inside 3 rounds with multiple knockdowns, with only Jack Catterall eating canvas and not Josh Taylor. Should it go any further, it's only because Josh Taylor has allowed it to go on. Either way it ends in a one-sided KO. They are friends outside the ring, so maybe Josh Taylor won't want to make Jack Catterall look "really bad" but he will want to be exceptional himself so I can't see him going easy on Jack Catterall at all.

Jack Catterall does not belong in the ring with ANY undisputed champion, let alone a worthy one in Josh Taylor AND let alone a champion in the division at 140. However, somehow Jack Catterall was the mandatory, so I guess the fight had to happen. I would probably rate Jack Catterall somewhere between number 11 to 20 in the division so him being made a mandatory is a baffling verdict to me. The governing bodies are strange entities at the best of times.

At 140 I would much rather see Josh Taylor rematch Regis Progais, who is wasting his time fighting tomato cans, his last 3 fights since Josh Taylor have been against undeserving opponents, or take on Jose Zepeda or Subriel Matias. Any one of those fights would be thrilling.

Catterall going to cause the upset tonight, loads of Taylor fans going to be crying in there socks instead of sweating in them for once.

Catterall was lucky he got those two knockdowns against Tyrone McKenna, had he not, the outcome might have been quite different. Because even with them, he barely won. The performance against Davies was also tepid and uninspiring at best... it could've been scored a draw. The Tartan Tornado will tear through him like an F5 in a trailer park.

Robeisy Ramirez vs. Eric Donovan however.... an upset there wouldn't shock me in the least, in fact... I kind of expect it.

The way Josh is talking, it's like he is looking beyond Jack, very dangerous game he is playing IMO.

    The upset could be on...

Too me, It's must see TV anytime Taylor fights. I think the guy is the absolute goods and won't gave much trouble with Catterall.

I'm also looking forward to the Ramirez Vs Donovan fight. Donovan was a pretty decorated amateur in his own right. Not sure he has the speed to compete with Ramirez but he certainly is a good fighter.

I didn't realize this was at Featherweight, I can't imagine somewhat frail Donovan moving down from Light and Super Feather at 36 will be a good idea. So... scratch the upset prediction.

Don't think it's as easy for The Tartan Tomato as people think. He will win, and he will stop Cathy, but not without a fight.

How Taylor looked at the weigh in was really concerning IMO, but I still expect this to be one sided.
