Disagree. He usually start his matches 4-0.

Why GGG again when he won twice and not Beterbiev after Bivol?

Honestly the most interesting thing is the second fight. Why? Because I think there is a huge possibility GGG loses to Murata. Not that I think Murata is good I just think at GGGs age inactivity is a career killer on top of him already being past prime..

I know they haven’t announced it but I think there’s an opt out clause for the 2nd fight if GGG loses. Reason why is Beterbiev and Murata are both in the Top Rank stable and Bob Arum would fully expect a one off deal like PBC for any of those fights..

I dont bate Canelo but this is a very valid criticism. It's clear Canelo is and has been aging Beterbiev out like he did GGG years ago and at this point a 3rd GGG fight is meaningless since Golovkin is becoming a fossil. Canelo should have already fought Beterbiev as a matter of fact.

But he's fighting Bivol and Bivol could absolutely end up being more of a threat than Beterbiev at this point due to Artur aging by the day plus his injuries.

GGG's chin didn't really take too many hits from what I remember. So I think Canelo wins in a clear manner, no controversy. GGG is not the same fighter as 2017.

Guys, please stop. Canelo Bivol is going to be a fixed fight. We will see Bivol pitty pat, not extend or commit to punches, guaranteed. Bivols been in there with big light heavies and taken some of their shots, he'd walk threw Clenelos overrated power in a real fight. But it's not going to be a real fight.

Nope. I think Saunders was a legit high level win for Canelo and I said it before the fight too.

If he beats Bivol fair and square it's in my opinion his best win to date. Bivol has a kinda unique spacialization in his style - he doesn't do a lot of things but what he does he does very very well. Won't be easy for Canelo at all.

Here's where I disagree with you. You think Canelo outright buys his opponents off. I don't. He tries to stack the hell out of the deck in his favour, but there's nothing to suggest he actually pays guys off to lose.

Because Hearn offered Alvarez a multi-fight deal, with Bivol and GGG both being Matchroom fighters. Both sides win; Hearn gets multiple Canelo fights, Canelo gets a string of guaranteed paydays for 2022 without having to take the time to negotiate after every fight and risk it falling through or getting delayed, like the Plant fight which got delayed last year from September to November because of negotiations.

Although I totally agree with you: if Alvarez is serious about campaigning at 175, he should stay at that weight and fight Beterbiev after Bivol, instead of dropping back down to pick off a faded Golovkin in a trilogy fight that won’t even be half as competitive as it would have been if they had fought after their 2018 rematch.

Canelo is undoubtedly counting on the support of the judges in the event of a tight fight.

Bivol being far less popular and influential than Golovkin could be even more egregious.

If you're very lucky it'll only be three rounds. Getting tag-teamed by The Ginger Demon and his judges is standard procedure and it's hardly the best kept secret that they're always going to be jacked silly on his PEDs too

FTR, Ginger should be 0-2 up at Eurasian Level even though he was on PEDs and was facing a senior citizen

Which is why you can be taken seriously and have actual, meaningful discussions with, whereas he can't.
