Ridiculous thread. Of course he will. He was a great fighter who was avoided in his prime yet made 20 defenses and if he wasn't screwed by the judges would have broken the record.

There are lesser guys who are in. They are better guys who won't get in. I think he makes it in without much problem.

He should hold a brace of wins over the ''greatest fighter of our generation'' when past his prime and well past it for the rematch when said greatest fighter had morphed into Hulknelo after jacking himself with PEDs and the only reason he doesn't is because of corruption rearing its ugly head again which many 'fans' worship at the altar of. A huge part of his legacy and biggest wins were stolen from him. ''But what are his best wins doe?''

Yes. But, I feel much less emphatic about my "yes" after the last 5-6 years have unfolded. It isn't just the Canelo fights. He looked terrible against Deryvenchencko, and the only reason he squeaked out a decision against Jacobs is because Jacobs has never really been any good. Although he won handily against Lemieux, it was all jabs. Quite a timid strategy for someone with a destroyer reputation like GGG. It really does give one pause to try and find many quality wins in his impressive number of defenses. All that being said, for a few years he did appear to be formidable and avoided. So, I would give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he just lost his fire when the judges robbed him against an increasingly roided-up Canelo.

He definitely should and will. Twenty middleweight title defenses (18) by KO, tied Hopkins record but with a much higher KO percentage. He is an exciting elite KO Artist with a huge fallowing. If he puts his mind to it he can still become an all time great, but he would have to unify the middleweight division by beating Murata, Charlo And Andrade. He could also take a short cut by first defeating Murata, then defeating Canelo for the unified supermiddleweight titles , and if he wants another cherry on top, take on Ward at 175lbs. If he does this, he will surely be an all time great, not just a hall of famer. It just depends on how much he has left and how much he wants it.

Well you have to remember that Canelo didn't want that smoke saying GGG was too big for him and had to age him out. Oh and the fact with him being that small is now fighting at Cruiser and Light Heavies. So yeah GGG was avoiided for a good while maybe mainly down to his very high KO % at the time. You being dismissive doesn't change the reality of the matter.

No, you must remember that the farce you're praising made a career feasting on hopeless opponents while calling out smaller opponents for paydays. Has he ever taken a single risk in his entire career? The answer is obviously NO. Now you can cover that up with "everyone is scared". Yes, every Welterweight was scared indeed.

Go roar on a farce as he explodes into arenas as a 100/1 favorite. I wouldn't take risks too if I had clowns like you roaring on my farts.

What are you going on about you spastic?
Plenty of fighters move up. Hagler fought people going up in weight does that make him a bum?
Of course it doesn't you foaming fanny..
GGG fought who was put in front of him. the fact is his era wasn't that strong and people avoided him until he got older is just fact.
You have a problem with him for some reason. but that's your brain malfunction and your in a small minority so your opinion means very little.

When fighters avoid you, you move up and take risks. You don't just sit there munching on hopeless opponents while begging Welterweights for paydays the way the farce you're praising did. I didn't start following Boxing yesterday to believe outdated marketing garbage like "most avoided fighter in the world". If fighters like Lemieux and Rubio were courageous enough to fight him, others wouldn't mind either, it's their job. They just need a purpose to give someone whose record is shamelessly padded with cherry picked opponents a free payday.

No question. Problem with his resume is that none of the top middleweights wanted him in his prime. Then a welter named Brook came along.
