Josh James William Taylor vs. Jack Catterall & Robeisy Ramirez vs. Eric Donovan RBR.

No rematch, that wont change this result. This decision needs to get overturned.

 

Even after watching this fight I can't imagine Catterall beating Prograis or Ramirez.

 

This is like the (ugly, not fun) cousin of the last Chocolatito vs Estrada fight where a lot of people think one guy won but no one agrees on how.

At least Catterall got one card.

 

Love Taylor and it's not his fault, he can't score the fight… But that lad went up there against all the odds and outboxed an elite fighter even putting him on his arse… And was robbed of the biggest prize in boxing… The four belts.. it's ****ing sickening

 

One thing is Catterall didn't really want to take the fight to Taylor for the most. I don't like that style even though it can be effective and hard to get around as Taylor found. Was a poor fight and you have to take the man's titles. Better luck next time JC.

 

Maybe Jack can fight Regis because Taylor ain't gonna give him a rematch just like he didn't give prograis one.

 

He is not going already said as much.

 

It's been my belief these last few years that Taylor's ability/nous in close quarters was being exaggerated. Didn't expect Catterall to be the one to spotlight it, but he did, not by outfighting Taylor there, but by largely nullifying him. I thought he'd hold his own at range for a limited period then just get outhustled and ground down inside and wouldn't be versatile enough to hang. Turned out he didn't really need to be, Taylor was just that limited when he got in.

 

Word.

 

He don't deserve to be undisputed after fight like that. He will be punished very soon.

I did not realise that he was so dirty and limited until today.

Every top 5 boxer in Taylors natural weight division, (which is 147) will stop him. Even Ugas and Thurman.

 

Sky Sports are a disgrace also, with their continued talk about this being a robbery. Ben Shalom has gone from good to bad within 7 days with his comments. Taylor is the best of the bunch, in all of Britain. Complete disrespect. Bias commentary throughout the entirety of the fight. Not necessarily commenting on the action but continuously talking about how Taylor needed a knockout. It’s understandable as they probably have a vested interest in Catteral as he is from what i can tell a Ben Shalom/Boxxer fighter. They have no real stars and began influencing all the post fight talk while the fight was still ongoing. I’d be very surprised if Taylor boxes on their platform again. He’s with Top Rank who already have a relationship with BT Sport (Tyson Fury). If i were Josh Taylor i’d never fight on Sky again

 

Tank would literally wreck JT.
