Who won - Taylor or Catterall

7-5 Catterall + KD. Easy Catterall W. Everyone who gave it to Taylor was either blind or just didn't want him to lose. This is one of the easier fights to score this year. The best case scenario for Taylor was a 6-6 and this would be still a Caterall W because of the KD (point deductions cancelled each other out).

 

One of the biggest robberies I have ever seen. Disgraceful.

Taylor won 3 rounds at the most and also suffered a knockdown. Ludicrous.

Easily Catterall. It's one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

I said this in that Canelo thread and I’ll say it here.. Being active is important especially in a younger fighters career (Lopez and now Taylor).. Don’t be surprised if Inouie don’t look too good vs Donaire.. These guys don’t fight for a long time then they’re trying to shake off ring rust for majority of the fight..

 

I'm just about done with British boxing.

As soon as I saw that a 4 belt undisputed match had been left to those three I should've realised there was nothing for Jack outside a KO. Even then they'd probably have found a way to rob him.

Utter disgrace.

 

Catterall won, and like I said pre-fight, I'm not surprised at how good his performance was (and how lacklustre Taylor's was).

Catterall won, some tight rounds and he took his foot off the gas the last 3-4 rounds but he won.

 

It would be a stretch to justify a draw after Taylor got the point deduction. Caterall got a very raw deal.
