He would've got knocked out if the ref wasn't in the bag and allowing Twink to stiff-arm more than anyone I can think of in recent memory and hold like an octopus all night. Twink clamped onto him like a limpet everytime his baby kangaroo reach leprechaun ass managed to get in range and the was terrified of getting into a honest exchange

I'm not the one in hysterics over a razor close match, going the way of a home fighter, who was the aggressor, when the away fighter fought like a spoiling coward in retreat the majority of the match am I? Could you imagine how apoplectic your ass would be if it was Josh holding that much? I don't give a good goddamn what people accuse me of, because I'm not a lemming that needs to go along with the crowd or be a popular guy. Which means I always remain objective and score it like I see it. And let's be honest, I see it a lot more clearly than your insufferable ass. Again... before you call someone a moron, make sure you know how to spell.

Taylor's elite man.. clearly proven that already, people dismissing him need to stop and just realise that Catterall is really ****ing good

Tank didn't look great because he hurt his hand until that point he was wining easily he didn't get beat up or dropped. Taylor didn't hurt his hand got beat up and dropped and lost on most cards.

Don’t make me laugh you and your mate don’t score Tank’s fights honestly. Just be a man and admit you don’t like the guy because his talents are not in doubt.

The thing about this fight is, Catterall landed more punches and landed the better punches. But he also made it scrappy as hell and went on the defensive for 80% of the last 5 rounds. So if you land 2 good clean punches but the other guy is stalking, being aggressive and landing (albeit not cleanly), I can see why some judges might score it the way they did. I don't agree, but it's subjective.

Taylor was horrible tonight but there is some overreaction about his skill level. He legitimately beat Prograis and Ramirez, two really good fighters. Taylor definitely has some chops and the move to 147 may be what he needs. Not saying he beats Spence or Crawford (Not many can beat them) but Ugas, Thurman and others would struggle with him.

I’m a big fan of Josh Taylor I think he’s a brilliant fighter but he’s an extremely lucky boy tonight

He looked flat, tense and was forcing everything from the first bell in comparison to Catterall who was relaxed and razor sharp

Now whilst it is absolutely criminal for some judge to have it to Taylor by 3 rounds (what the ****), I did think the score cards would be strange. I had it 6-2 to Catterall after 8 rounds and for me Taylor definitely won at least 3 of the last 4 rounds.

Froch has just come out on Twitter andsaid -
“If you go on survival mode for the last four rounds of a World Title fight, the judges do not like it. Especially whenyou’re the challenger. Opportunity gone!”

And I think he’s made a point worth thinking about there. Taylor startedpressing forward in those championship rounds and Catterall wasn’t stampinghome his authority.

Either way, it can be dressed up any which way you like but the Chorley man should’ve been leaving Glasgow with all the belts.

That was not the Josh Taylor I know, he looked completely flat and off it…. Needs to go move up in weight.

Actually... it was spot on. Go back and rewatch the match. You all got carried away and overstated Catterall's successes.
