Yeah whatever by you the biggest lie here. I like you but sometimes you are just plain wrong. I wanted JT to win but Caterall exposed him tonight. If Caterall was a puncher he would have stopped him.

I think the KD was definitely questionable (need to see it again) but something was clearly very very off with JT tonight and he looked a mere shadow of the fighter we've seen in every other fight up until this point. I did say I thought this was going to be harder for him than many expected it to be and I hand on heart I had a gut-feeling he might lose and that was partly to do with me sensing something was off from his body language. But my head was autocorrecting me telling me I was just being paranoid. But I had no idea he would look that bad. I think this pale shadow of JT would lose to a lot of 140 pounders. He looked horrendous by his own standards

In fight week he seemed even more irritable than usual. I see why he has not wanted to give Prograis a rematch.

I don't have to lie, Olu, I'm too intelligent and can score expensive points in my sleep to have to stoop to that.

    Sure you did lol.

I agree. But we both know there was something seriously off with JT tonight, and everyone could see that, but only one of us is prepared to be honest about that. If he looked his usual self you would have a point and I would concede it to you but he clearly wasn't

A knockdown added on and still the loss, thanks TR.

Have to disagree on this one, and being from Edinburgh been one of JT's fans for a long time - maybe because I saw Josh as being tense, smothering his own work a lot - I gave Catterall too much when it's live, but I will be surprised if my opinion changes on a second viewing; Catterall beat Taylor in the jabs and power shots - Taylor had some minor successes to the body and a couple of decent uppercuts, but nothing very clean, and he never clearly hurt Catterall that I could see. Catterall did seem to relax a bit too much down the stretch which allowed Taylor to get back into it, but not enough IMO

    I gave Catterall rounds 1,3,4,5,6,8 and 11 with round 8 being the 10-8 - I think that's 114-111 El Gato

I had a few doubts floating in the back of my head, because I know Jack is hard to look good against and can be a real slippery pain in the ass. But I assumed Josh would focus on jabbing his way inside, landing the right hook, and concentrate on the body. Make it a war of attrition in close, like he did against Prograis. But he was too aggressive, and forgot about his jab, and only remembered to move his head in the last 4 rounds. His game plan was **** and clearly overly emotional tonight, as well as being drained. So everything went against him tonight.

Do me a favor and go back and rewatch rounds 2 and 11 when you get a chance.

I don't think he's worried about that he's been trying to arrange bigger fights than that

His resume speaks volumes about the size of his plums as your boy Twink's does about his. Your boy flat-out refused to rematch that oompa loompa in his post-fight interview even though his own fans booed him for doing so

I will for sure - like I said, it's possible because I saw my boy fighting like a shadow of himself I maybe read more into Catteralls work that was there, but I will se; though I did give Taylor round 2 - though close

You may not be aware of this Serge JT I like a lot. He reminds me of a boxer I once managed a world class boxer who won every title available to him except for the world title. I described JT as a boxer who fights with electricity. Like my guy who was also a very good amateur and southpaw for such a good sleek boxer he liked to box aggressively. JT has started abandoning his boxing wanting to have a scrap with people. He literally walked onto one tonight with the knockdown. You may or may not be intelligent but you do let yourself down at times.

He landed twice as many punches and outlanded Taylor in 11 rounds to 1. On top of that, he scored a knockdown. I had it 115-110.
