I've already mentioned this further up the thread: boxers are not judged on how many punches they throw and/or land. I also said that I thought Catterall edged the fight. People calling it a robbery, though, maybe need to check the rules on how to score a boxing match. No way can it be considered a robbery.

When the vast majority of people scream robbery - it usually is in 99.99% of cases in boxing.

    Tonight was simply a robbery.

Jack Catterall won this fight by at least 5 rounds - he was robbed

I don't like Jack Catterall or his boxing style and was a big fan of Taylor before his post fight interview.

Wait a minute you said the judges arent impressed with spoiling and throwing very little and prefer effective aggression.

Jack threw 100 punches more than josh and landed 47 punches more.

    Plus knocked him over.

How does what your saying make any sense.

I don't like Catterall's boxing style and not a fan at all but he won by at least 5 rounds.

Taylor was a pale shadow of himself from the first to last bell and looked totally out of sorts.

Looks like the fight cards were sorted again well before the day of the fight.

    Taylor lost.

    It’s that simple.

I didn't say anything about "spoiling", nor did I say that judges "prefer" effective aggression. I said that boxers are judged on effective aggression and ring generalship - which they are. It is hard to argue that a boxer would score well on both counts (ring generalship and effective aggression) when they are continually walking backwards.

Paddy power doing that is embarrassing for Josh Taylor and everyone involved.

They make more from the free promotion of being the good guys than they lose from refunding the bets.
Its a cheap but effective trick.

To be fair Jürgen, the vast majority of people are numpties.

How did you score the fight? Let's see your scorecard pal.

    Here's mine:

    Round 1: Catterall, 10-9
    Round 2: Catterall, 10-9
    Round 3: Taylor, 10-9
    Round 4: Taylor, 10-9
    Round 5: Catterall, 10-9
    Round 6: Catterall, 10-9
    Round 7: Taylor, 10-9
    Round 8: Catterall, 10-8
    Round 9: Catterall, 10-9
    Round 10: Taylor, 10-8
    Round 11: Taylor, 9-9
    Round 12: Taylor, 10-9

    Catterall 113-112 Taylor

I almost gave the 2nd round even which would have made it a draw but I like to give it one way, or t'other. I could just as easily have given it to Taylor. Same with the 9th round. It was a very scrappy fight with lots of really close rounds.

Not too different from mine. I thought Taylor won the second. A lot of close scrappy rounds.

Yeah I'm stunned at the result. I had it 116-109 Catterall, with a couple of close rounds where the best I could have gone for Taylor was 114-111 for me (113-112 at an absolute stretch and that would be a massive stretch). Either way, I couldn't make a case for Taylor winning and was incomplete shock when the cards were read out, as well as feeling awful for Catterall afterwards.

This card by you is the definition of a Brit robbery. You should be ashamed. Seen you earlier defending racism as well. Josh Taylor the racist who used to like & repost racist garbage on Twitter like it was going out of fashion. I bet you are a EDL fan boy like this clown who got schooled.
