Who is the funniest boxer of all time? I mean somebody whose career can be material for a comedy movie? My vote is for Tony 'two tons' Galento. Check out his cool clip below:

Galento is def. up there. Of course there is his contemporary Max Baer also.

Joe Louis could be a barrel full of laughs - kidding.

    Randall Tex Cobb another given.

Young Ali when he was fresh and off the cuff - not the later version that repeated old material over and over again.

According to Liston apparently Marty Marshall could be uproariously funny until he cracked you mid chuckle and broke your jaw.

Logan and Jake? - more funny than they intend to be - not so much laughed “with” as “at” - Ah, the human comedy….

It’s the managers in boxing that can be funny. Some fights ‘made are just a yarn aren’t they?

Zab Judah’s Funky Chicken Dance was pretty funny - but we also have to credit the talent of the choreographer: Kostya Tzsyu.

Okay, this guy is an anonymous one hit wonder - but it’s nonetheless champagne comedy - Jerry Lewis couldn’t have been funnier if he tried, and Jerry did try:-

My grandmother, who isn't really a boxing fan, used to quote this all the time. Never knew where it came from, thanks for this it actually means a lot.

I love that in the lead-up to their fight, Galento would call Louis every night, call him a bum, and tell him he was going to moida him.

    Max Baer was really funny.

In terms of pure shithousery, I really found myself laughing at Rolly Romero mocking Gervonta Davis.

Usyk and Dave Allen today are both quite funny.

Rocky Graziano was very funny. He used to make the rounds on the late night talk shows and always had some funny stories to tell. He came to my hometown in the late 70s as part of an amateur boxing show. He was full of funny stories and had the time of his life mixing with everybody there. He really hit it off with my father, who was just a little older than Rocky. We both got autographs from him and some great pictures
