Not a fan of Catterall and find him a boring watch but I totally agree with your analysis.

Taylor was flat from the first bell to the last and Catterall won by a wide decision.

Lost all respect for Taylor after his post fight interview - was a big fan before this fight.

 

Josh got schooled by Jack. It was so bad at times I can't really imagine Josh ever beating him unless it was just one of those days lol

 

really scrappy fight but Catterall clearly won majority rounds personally had it 116 110 to Catterall and they completely robbed him. Double punches landed. Even the judge who scored the fight for Catterall should be ashamed only by 1 round
Disgusting and again I'm a huge Taylor fan but he was dominated tonight

 

Man Taylor is all downhill for now unless he can get a big win and some form back cause that was shocking form for an undisputed guy

 

A clear case of a fighter who should have moved up in weight

 

I was/am a fan of Josh Taylor.

I truly believed he was the UK best fighter we have had in years and believed him and Fury are the only current true elite British fighters on tge world stage. Maybe Taylor still is if he moves up ? I dunno.

However if you believe there is even an argument that Taylor won that fight you are either being soo willfully obtuse or are so stupid its a form of miracle.

What is the point of Competition?

I mean these lads work hard, hope & dream and yet the Business of Boxing - the Crooked Business - Denies, Cheats and STEALS Them of 'any hope', worth & possibility.

the Good thing is, had Taylor won that fight clearly, they'd be spewing the Usual BS, and that is he is Scotland's Greatest ever fighter, One of Britain's ATG's and an Historical Boxing Name to be forever praised... "What a Load of Utter Pish".

Catterall PROVED Two things last night...

1) that Boxing is a Lying effen joke and
2) he is yet further Proof, that Damn Near All TOP & Noted Fighters - GIVEN the Chance are Just as Capable of Winning a World Title.

Bring Back SPORT, just follow the Rules of Competition - Honest Wins & Elimination Bouts, followed by Title Fights - Win or Loss - then the SPORT of Boxing produces TRUE Champions and Honest History.

also Oust all of these Corrupt Pigs, "Simples".

 

Nobody will be in a rush to face him up there again.

 

Where does Catterall go from here ?

Let's be honest, he is a sight for sore eyes. His style is soo ****ing boring, I wouldn't watch him if he was fighting in my back garden, incredibly dull fighter/style. I can't see many champs giving him a call anytime soon.

I’m another who had it 8-4 Catterall plus a legit knockdown. Absolutely disgusting. Judges need to be held accountable and justify their scores. That fight wasn’t even debatable.

 

Judges and the Influencers Behind them, because you know fine well there has to be at least a few Insuring the Invested Need of their CASH COW!

 

Actually pleased now that Taylor has got so little recognition for his achievements, similarly I hope he gets ripped apart at Welter and his career is forever remembered for that and this decision.
