Maybe was the weight-cutting too much; it is normally no good idea to go down when you are 40, when you last the whole career in an upper weight-class.

But let we wait first for the doping-sample of the opponent...

    Highlights.

Surprised Rigo didn't take off all over the ring. Astrolabio looks decent. Nonoy Neri Pac's former trainer has big raps on the kid. He looks better than what they have at MP promotion like Ancajas and Magsayo.

Can't watch the full fight some bias Indian commentators. DKSAB!! Rigo didn't do shyt for the round " ah good job Rigo.Gets dropped OHHH, this is unbelievable, Rigo.

Can't believe people are pooping on Rigo for losing at 41 years of age

What did everyone really expect from a 41 y/o Rigo? Fighters in his weight class are usually finished in their late 30s.

Time for Rigo to finally hang those gloves up.

Rigondeaux is an overrated fighter living off of one great win.

People dislike him because he says stuff like come fight night, his opponents are standing across from the devil. And then 99% of his fights are equivalent to sticking and then spinning a Q-Tip in your pee hole.

 I don't have a problem with people disliking him. That's their prerogative. It's people acting like he's not 41 y/o and well past his best I have an issue with lol

For sure! Intergalactic Beef Curtains definitely beat a shot Rigondeaux, but at the same time, IBC was a COMPLETE unknown and it's not like he powered through Rigondeaux on some size advantage. No, he outboxed him and ripped him with perfectly timed shots. It was the least likely path to victory.

The test will last about one month till the result get published (until this I would be cautious). If the outcome get verified by this, then could he go back to Super-Bantamweight. I think he can continue for 4 years more, like his fellow-countryman Ortiz did.

Rigondeaux has possible the best amateur record ever; superior to Stevenson, Savon and Kindellan. So he have to be in the Hall of Fame.
