    Knocked out?

In his first loss against Reggie Gross he was thumbed up some such and quit.

Second loss against Carl Williams, a uninspired Cooper gassed and had the **** beaten out of him. Quit on his stool.

Against Holyfield he was stopped on his feet, seemingly unaware of the epic beating he had absorbed.

He turned his back and quit against Corrie Sanders if I'm remembering correctly.

    Same thing against Samson Pou'ha.

For a fighter that was stopped 14 times he had a unbelievable chin. Probably due to his Mike Tyson like build.

Only people I remember even putting him on the canvas were Bowe and Moorer.

    Anyone?

Sanders put him on the canvas, but Cooper got up.

I think you may be right - he was never kept down.

Sanders performance vs Cooper was sensational. The knockout was a flurry of punches. I remember watching in on the Cedric Kushner’s heavyweight explosion series.

Cooper looked motivated at first as well. Really came out firing against Sanders, worked his body well against the ropes.

Sanders did look great that night.

I'd have to rewatch the Bowe loss....I remember he got floored with a left-right combination, but I'm pretty sure he got back up (if wobbly).

He got up and then got dropped again, and the ref stopped it.

It was on the undercard of the dreadful Holyfield-Douglas fight.

Michael Moorer dropped him in the 5th round of a back and forth slugfest when he fought off the ropes and then put Cooper down with a tremendous uppercut. Cooper got up at 9 but was out on his feet and the ref stopped it.

He also quit on his stool against Foreman after the second round... Foreman hit him with some killer body punches, but the second round was pretty competitive and then Cooper quit out of nowhere.

Cooper was another waste of talent. If he stayed off drugs and trained he could have been so much more than what he turned out to be ...
