Eubank got dodgy decisions over Sugar Boy Malinda and Tony Thornton and was exposed by Ray Close (who?) and Steve Collins. Those aren’t HoF candidates.

    He’s nowhere near Canelo’s class.

Eubank was a world-class salesman and pantomime entertainer in boxing gloves. Credit to him for being a shade better than Nigel Benn and Michael Watson in his most important domestic fights, but he wasn’t ever considered for a minute to even be the best guy in his weight division in his time.

I have to ask. Who did Canelo beat who was superior to Watson and Benn?

Talking about dodgy decisions in defence of Canelo is a fickle thing don't you think?

    Junior isn't a Eubank.

He is something his farther reaggregated with a heartbeat.

    Very similar to sentient vomit.

Junior's not that bad. He's also not that good, that much I agree.

GGG is clearly a more polished and H2H fighter than both of them. He possess a chin of granite, a devastating puncher both raw power and skill, technically sound, defensively sound and had beaten pretty good fighters.

He beat Gabriel Rosado, David Lemiux, Martin Murray, Curtis Stevens, Kell Brook and Daniel Jacobs. Eubank won a very controversial win over Watson in their first bout and Benn was actually very good win for him.

GGG on the other hand, was undefeated and had beaten pretty good names. Canelo is the first and only man who beat him. A feat no one has till this day

Who did Canelo beat better then Watson and Benn? I wonder how Canelo would do against someone like Carl Thompson?

Putting it another way, do I think he could beat Watson and Benn.?
Yes I do, dangerous fights especially against Benn but I belive he does it.

Fair. But I'd say he is a less proven fighter none the less.

Benn and Watson are more proven then anyone Canelo beat.

If you give Chris the benefit of the doubt against Carl Thompson (I do) then he takes the lead big nothing Canelo did compares.

That's a bit of a stretch. Callum Smith is as dangerous as Benn, Saunders and Plant also are a lot slick than both of them. GGG is better than both of them in term of all around ability (dude, he's frickin' undefeated). Daniel Jacobs is extremely talented and very technically excellent, what happen to him against Canelo? He got freaking schooled, Canelo made him look like he just debuted. C'mon man, you're better than this. This is not a place to just be bias to old timers. @BCS8, @Saintpat, @Fergy, @Fogger and me can clearly see why Canelo is infinitely better both H2H and achievements. Canelo is literally beating every notable names in boxing. Not to mention he started at welterweight and now he's fighting light heavyweights Sergey Kovalev and now currently challenging Dimitry Bivol. I mean, he even tried to fight Makabu in cruiserweight for god sake.

I don't know why you kept repeating Benn and Watson are like lightyears better than all of who Canelo beat. You're acting like a hater, everything that Canelo did is simply not enough despite him doing something historical just months ago. Not to mention Canelo is fighting plenty of undefeated men including GGG, Plant, Saunders, Smith brothers, Austin Trout, etc. The already beaten Erislandy Lara at the time was still seen as undefeated considering most people saw his lost against Paul Williams as daylight robbery. After all this, you think beating Michael Watson controversially in their first bout is better than all of Canelo achievements? Dude, Watson is not even a world champ.

I don't understand your POV. I literally can't see what you're seeing. Canelo has beaten plenty of guys who are just as good if not better than Benn and Watson. Dude, I'm confident enough Canelo could achieve GOAT status, seriously.
