Whyte is trying to avoid Fury's mind games.

Shame. The media build up was likely to be better than the actual fight

Whyte been messed about the WBC and the 20% share. I can see why Whyte doesn't want earn WBC and Top Rank more money by doing PR for fight. Whyte just needs to concentrate on training and turn and do the business in the ring (plus it will be enjoyable to watch Fury and Arum get wound up over it).

Does he now forfit the WBC press conference belt by not showing up, or is it on the line at the next press conference?

It’s better for the fight if he plays ball with press conferences - makes it a bigger event and also doesn’t risk Whyte burning bridges with two big promotional companies, especially considering Whyte has his own fighters.

I appreciate why he’s frustrated but it’s a massive prize and I think he should play ball as the long game is worth it.

Those guys who were insisting Whyte isn't shook of Fury. Even Wilder, who was visibly wracked with apprehension and nerves going into III, manned up and showed his face at the pressers.

After years of talking about Tyson, that big, fat mouth has fallen very silent.

Pathetic from Whyte not to attend this, it just hurts the fans at the end.

It's just going to make seeing him get obliterated sweeter.

Whyte is a coward, Fury has said it for years, no bottle.

Whyte has been training in Portugal for a few years. No reason for him to travel to the UK for this. Would catch covid or something on the way.

By trying to avoid the mind games, he's basically admitting he's scared of them.

So he's already lost the mind games in Fury's eyes.
