Boxing is crap as the fighters avoid each other.

Only sport this happens . Football in the league the teams have to play each other..cup the big guns meet till someone is out.

Boxing the hide from each other and just grow old.

Usual nonsense from Fury. I also thought he gave a pretty poor answer regarding Usyk and the Klitschkos fighting in Ukraine. Benson’s caption below is misleading.

He had the opportunity to be magnanimous and respectful towards them, putting sporting rivalry aside, but he made it all about him and how he and John would sign up immediately in a similar situation over here.

No chance. He’s said it loads of times before, before at least 2 of the Wilder fights.

    Of course it's not.

In anyone actually think that it's his final bout then they must have a mushroom for a brain.

    Not really.
What Fury says is even less reliable as when Arum opens his mouth.

And frankly, who cares at this point anyway?!
Will you decide on watching or attending based on if he retires next or not? My view is that 95% that care about whether or not this is Fury's last fight, would have already decided if they watch or attend it merely based on it being his first fight on Bri'ish soil, since getting busted against Hammer.

It starts to matter if he actually goes trough with it after. Then we can properly evaluate his career, which would have a lot of blatant holes in it. And if there will be another comeback after.

Comes to something when he has to stoop this low to sell tickets.

Either Whyte is the A-side or Tyson isn't as popular as his fanboys think he is...

Just silly - he had an opportunity to show respect and admiration in a serious situation but instead he stayed in character. I get he was amped up, but he could’ve been pretty considered there if he wanted to be.

To be honest it's a bit silly of him saying hes going to retire after dillian..

Say what? Who on earth wants to go out after beating a bum like dillian. Lol

Just makes it sound like he doesn't want to fight usyk or aj, which of course he has to if he wants to be taken seriously.

But we all know it's to sell this fight, cos dillian is an absolute clown of a guy not rocking up.

It is wrong to presume that every single person supports Ukraine (and/or NATO). I support freedom of speech - whether i agree or disagree with one's position. Believe it or not, there are many who support Russia in this scenario. Therefore, a journalist consciously or unconsciously asking a loaded question could have theoretically opened up a massive can of worms.

Politics has no place in sport. Let Fury be a boxer. If a boxer wants to talk politics, they will initiate the discourse.

True. I think Fury’s implication there was that he supported Ukraine. He thrives off sound bytes anyway and that’s what we got with that answer.

I am anti-militarist, so I do not support the way in which Putin is dealing with this situation. But the absolute gall of GB and US governments and particularly contradictory and hypocritical left-wing media, is absolutely astounding.

To ask a man like Fury about this war is pointless and will only bring about two outcomes 1) The same answer practically everyone else has given (admirable, brave, great men etc.) and 2) An ignorant answer because he doesn't have a clue what's going on.

It was amusing how he used it to paint himself as a hero. Fury was so much better in the olden days when he was less manufactured. People are actually calling Fury a hero for that response. He's a total fake these days. Let's be honest, Fury, the family, and his Gucci collection, would probably all be in a couple of caravans and heading to the Highlands, at speed, if anything like that were to happen here.
