These were contenders in Middle- and Super-Middleweight, where the jewish boxer was more successful in the Middleweight, but "Danish Dynamite" in the upper possible. If a knockout happens then rather likely for Echols, but on points would probably win Rosenblatt.

Echols would probably win. You’ve got to be really tough to do what he did against Hopkins.

Also against Brewer (though he was lucky not getting stopped in the first round by the referee), but he was very rude and Rosenblatt more skillful/ had the superior technique: So he could outbox Echols, as Mundine did it.
I think in Middleweight is Dana Rosenblatt favourite, as he was place 2 next to Hopkins; in Super-Middleweight is it maybe Antwun "Dynamite" Echols.

I first considered about Dana Rosenblatt vs. Robert Allen instead of this, but then changed my mind, because Allen didn't compete in Super-Middleweight.

Random question how comes Antwun Echols didn't get a shot against Joe Calzaghe ?

Echols beat Brewer in a 3 round war. Yet Calzaghe fought the loser "Brewer" instead of Echols.

Was it because Echols was floored 3 times, and the stoppage was considered controversial ?

But still Echols did officially win the fight, and he went on to beat another Calzaghe victim Kabary Salem.

I'm just wondering if Echols was ever considered an opponent for Calzaghe.

    Just a random thought.

The fight was for a lesser WBA belt and Echols went on to fight Mundine for the WBA belt.

Would you rather get a nice split against Mundine or get jerked by Calzaghe and have no chance of winning?

Echols could punch but that was it. And Dana could hit harder then what people think.
Dana has too many weapons and stops Echols although first 3 rounds Echols is dangerous.

I like Echols at 160 and Dana at 168.

But Antwan was dangerous every minute until the final bell or the ref waved it off in any fight. Warrior.
