The 2010 and 2011 European Championships, 2008 and 2009 European Union Championships, The Strandzha Cup and 2008 World Cup when he was an Amateur Boxer? Anyone know, how did he amass 398 Amateur bouts without competing in these competitions

Was it during the period Papachenko had him in dance?

My guess is to keep his amateur record close to perfect and not have to constantly fight the best amateurs

Seems legit, should have just kept him at 20 amateur fights rather than nearly 400.

I think he sat out 2011 to focus on the world's.

I'm pretty sure I read he picked up an injury in early 2010 at another tournament and decided not to go to Russia for the Euro champs. Though he was fighting not long after this tournament.

He was fighting only domestic fighters and having his skills honed for Olympics.

Papachenko didn't wanted to put too much pressure on Loma fighting all the tournaments he can. Instead, other national team boxers collected experience abroad and brought it home. When they got better, Loma got better without the mental pressure they went through.

    Its all Matrix..

European Championship is not restricted to EU members.
