Something of a shock upset just happened in Joseph Marie Tangaro Noynay vs. Liam Wilson II, btw - local kid avenged himself via KO2.

    Round 1

Hogan is the busier man, floating to his left with lateral steps and then darting in with straight combos, mostly on the body. Ryan extending the right jab into Hogan's face and looking to surprise him with a looping left hand when he dives in close. Cut opened on the cheek of Hogan. Continuous right hands being driven through into the abdomen by Hogan.

    10-9 Hogan

Ben Damon (on the play by play call, with Jeff Fenech on color) just mentioned the WBO has sanctioned this as a 154lbs eliminator.

    Round 2

Hogan is still forcing the pace, despite the cut worsening. It looks bad and is accompanied by a mouse, with the swelling growing under his right eye but not yet affecting his performance. Diving in, scoring rights on the body and disrupting Ryan's attempts to sit and time him with counters by jabbing up top. Ryan doing a lot of clinching and mostly only touching Hogan when he clobbers him down the backside while holding. Whistling overhand lefts meant to catch Hogan on the way in never quite find the mark - probably because Ryan is averting his gaze onto the canvas and throwing blind. :nusenuse:

    10-9 Hogan

    20-18 Hogan

30-27 Hogan, cleaner work and more active, but this is devolving a bit into a series of clinhes, headlocks, and rabbit punches from both men. Ref having to stay very involved. Ryan just winging those overhand lefts on a wing and prayer. Hogan wobbles Ryan slightly at one point.

    Round 4

Hogan is waving the left jab out ahead of himself in short concentric swirls of his wrist before snapping it and charging in. Hogan with three and four pieces straight volleys to body or head tilting in. Ryan switching tacks now, abandoning the overhand left in favor of a left uppercut behind a sloppy right chaff jab. Ryan starting to clip Hogan with some punches as he comes in now, timing him but not flush with anything, lots of grazing contact and Hogan quick to step outside after scoring and cover his exit by parrying with his left arm. Still a lot of clinching.

    10-9 Hogan, relatively close

    40-36 Hogan

Hogan looking a little blown up, mouth-breathing a tad, and that wound on his cheek is turning a nasty purplish - but he is still bossing this on workrate. Ryan loading up on single punches and not even terribly accurate with them, everything telegraphed with his left and barely set up by jabs, bad strategy with a quick strong in-and-out buzzsaw like Hogan.

    50-45 Hogan

Hogan got warned for rabbit punches early in the 6th and the ref says "this is your last warning for hitting behind the head!". Ben Damon says "I think both fighters are now on final warning for pretty much everything ".
