    I'm not sure what the fuss is. most guys at the lower weights do this for the advantage.
    I've always said though that weigh in should be before the ring walk on fight night. that would eliminate the problem completely.
    I think he clearly needs to go to 154 but then so should Crawford. hopefully we can get a unification fight after the Ugas fight.

    He wouldnt be "fighting men his own size".

    He'd be fighting guys who walk around at 190 and cut to make 160, and get in the ring at 175.

    Did Hopkins gain over 10 lbs in his 40s? He weighed over 180 against Kovalev.

    I doubt it he said he walked around at 185lbs at light heavy and after he retired in an interview he said he was 170 something. He was never a real light heavyweight, at least compared to most light heavies like Tarver who walked around at 200lbs and would be around 190lbs on fight night.

    No there isn't. None of them should be in the division. The person cutting 12 is still 2 divisions too low so is still bullying the weight class.

    That is from ToT. Hopkins began at LHW, then dropped two divisions down. He looked massive next to Trinidad.

    Clenelo is probably 190-200 pounds. Crawford walks around at about 176-180. GGG probably 170-175.

    Pretty sure GGG gets IN THE RING over 170, so Im sure he walks around at least in the 180s, probably more.

    Clearly you are a fanboy. Spence has never ducked Crawford lol. If anything, Crawford did all interviews stating he doesn't need Spence or don't plan to fight him all 2021. So who really ducking?

    I give him respect that he was disciplined enough to stick to welterweight until his early 30s, but it might be time for him to move up to 154 before he seriously injures himself.
