Ruiz should win given Ortiz is ancient , chinny and struggled past Prince Chuckles who is garbage.

But don't see it happening. In fact wouldnt be surprised if we never see Ruiz fight again. He seems completely unmotivated.

Make it happen - fun fight, Ruiz edges it on points.

Ortiz retires in his corner late in the fight. He has no chance.

Ortiz is chinny? He got up twice vs Wilder. Even though he got knocked down vs Martin, he wasn't really hurt.

    Dude can take a punch.

Wide UD for Ruiz in a boring but one sided fight in my opinion.

Let’s see what shape Ruiz is in. Hoping he is settled at the weight better now (maybe he has put it back on, never know with him)

Easy work for Ruiz. Ortiz has a glass jaw

If joshua takes an interim fight before usyk i can see luis ortiz be the front runner as a southpaw and still a great name and ranked high.

Agreed, I am so sick of a lot of the PBC’s BS match ups most of their guys seem to fight once a year in tune ups. Wilder Ruiz would be a huge fight in any state and they could put it on PPV.

I think this would end up being a pretty competitive. Ortiz is a bit washed but he's still better than Arreola who Ruiz surprisingly struggled with. Hell, Charles Martin is better than that version of Arreola.

The older you get the bigger and sharper the drop off becomes (usually). Ortiz looked noticeably worse against Martin than he looked against Wilder II. I thought he was lucky to pull out that win against the limited Martin as he looked very fragile.

I know Ruiz had a tough go against Arreola but I think Ruiz steamrolls Ortiz. This will also be probably the second best fighter Ortiz has ever fought in his career.....in his (laughs) mid 40s?
