Not so sure how effective Lemieux's vaunted left hook will be at 168. I don't see this one lasting long with his defensive flaws.

Yep. There's also the issue that he's a shopworn guy who fought only one time in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Now approaching his mid-30s in a higher weight class, going to be tough for him against world class opponents. Hopefully he goes down swinging, gets a nice payday and can retire comfortably.

And a good name for Benavidez.

This does nothing for David Benavidez. He should be facing guys that will help him improve and get him ready to face the roided out freak Canelo.

Lemieux’s left hand is still very dangerous, but he’s gonna get jabbed to death in this fight. Hope he retires soon

Lemieux is a great fighter; glad to see him fight though his career is heading towards the end.

I love David, therefore... I don't love this fight for him, at all. He gets put down several times and probably stopped in 5. He's going to be a sitting duck for David's uppercut. Although, a Hail Mary bomb landing isn't out of the question, but he better hope that Benavidez struggles mightily making weight and comes to the ring looking like a walking cadaver.

Gotcha.. My mistake I see Lemeiux being demolished in a jabfest.. But also if Lemeiux is able to land one of those left hooks it’ll tell us a lot about Benavidez chin since PBC has been matching him up with only light punchers so far..

PBC fighters waste their time on garbage fights like this. Benavidez, Plant, Charlo all fight for the same promotion there is no excuse for them not to be fighting each other.
