Sky have done themselves a kipper here. First fight just over broke even which was a stretch given the purses. If the have the same purses in the rematch poor Shalom is going to have kittens. hopefully there’s a get out clause for Sky and they can remove themselves from having the rematch broadcast
Probably suits both Khan and Brook. There just aren't any realistic opponents for them besides each other. They'll both get paid quite well also.
Can't see a rematch happening. The TV networks will know the fight wouldn't do the same kind of numbers seeing how one sided it was. I knew brook would ask for crazy money to fight Benn. His trying to cash in and can't blame him.
Shrewd from Khan. The fight won't happen but gives him leverage for a chunk of step aside money. Seems like the Benn fight isn't happening though (Hearn says Brook asked for too much) so interesting to see where Brook goes from here
brook should call it and pull a whyte do **** all to promote it watch khan pull out with injury kell should load up at the bookies on that outcome otherwise khan gets done in 3 and kell still gets paid minimal work / effort
