Wow, that's crazy, Zepeda fought both of his fellow Josés in the same calendar year (February and September of 2019).

Agree, i know most wont agree on here but even the 12 round was close. Ramirez missed a ton. it just looked good and the fans did their part. But if you watch closely not much has landed that round clean IMO

Bro, I know it's boxing and all, but there are guys who don't become whiny little girls when they lose a close fight.

    That's our job, anyway. :deal:

I gave Ramirez the last three rounds. I think Pedraza knows he was fighting on survival mode those rounds.

That's not to say that his experience and skills didn't make those fights close, but he was more content with not taking risks.

He was also Outlanded in those rounds.

I thought 12 was a clear round for JCR and had Pedraza won it there's no way I could see him coming away with an L.

Not sure why they're chatting up Arnold Barboza Jr. like he's a clear-out-the-division threat. He's good but IMO he loses to all three Josés, Rougarou, Matías, and of course TTT. And heck maybe Catterall. He's on the bubble of even being top-10 h2h. :nusenuse:

Doesn't help his ego being fed with lines like "go ahead, it is your show :D!" by that unctuous sycophant Joe T.

Pedraza did very well, and he showed his class. I can see an argument for Pedraza getting a draw.

However boxing is very subjective. In the parts of the Midwest U.S. and and part of the East Coast U.S. Pedraza would have gotten more than four rounds. In Mexico, the South West and East Europe Ramirez would have been favored.

Some regions score slickness, other regions score harder punches and aggression.

It was a close fight, and I think based on what I saw Pedraza is at peace with the decision.

I honestly think Pedraza knew that he had a slim chance at winning. I scored the last three rounds for Ramirez. Sure it was close, but Pedraza looked more beat than Ramirez in the championship rounds.

It was very close. Depends what you like I guess. But there were a couple of rounds which were scored for JCR I thought Pedraza clearly won.

Yeah, fighting in someone's hometown is always a pain. I scored "only" two of the last three for Ramirez, but still thought it a draw. But in my heart of hearts, I knew if anyone was getting the nod it would be Ramirez and I can't say undeservedly so.
