    At that point Graham hadn’t taken a punch hardly. Just made Kalule (who gave Leonard one of his trickiest fights) look silly, silly.

    He was a fraud in many respects, and had an inflated opinion of himself. While he somehow believes Collins was in a league below him, he never would have took the fight if the third fight with Ray Close hadn’t fell through. The guys Collins lost to woul have beaten Eubank.

    Nice chess match;

    Eubank had just killed a man in his jeep (!) in a motorway tragedy, and previous fight nearly killed Watson. The guy was superhuman! How the hell did he even get to the ring….his body did but his mind actually didn’t (not fully anyway), hence the sloppiness and looseness.

    I never liked the man, either as a fighter or a person... as far as I'm concerned he is a Good Fighter, Very Good in the BHop sense, an awkward spoiler...

    He was ALWAYS in Great Shape, prepared and dangerous, in spite of his unorthodoxy, that a Stylish Boxing can pick apart.

    Personally I think he is overrated, though he certainly doesn't stand alone there.

    Eubank to me is a Fury, a Banked & Capitalised Personality, that for Financial Reasons had to be preserved, though Eubank is a better fighter overall than Fury, but he/them are Basically Cash Cows that are put ahead of Boxing - the Sport & Competition, that is supposed to prove ones true status or not!

    He was a Good and Top Fighter all the same.

    I can buy this. Maybe he was uncertain of his chances and didn't want the Leonard match to lose it's shine?

    We didn’t appreciate it at the time. But he’s the greatest one-off this business has ever seen.

    He did admit it, he stated he never wanted to be the best, he was quite content to be one of the best..

    He stated it would be suicide to face RJJ...
