Isn't he supposed to be training Fury? I haven't seen any sign that he's even in the UK. The fight is six weeks away.
Doesn't he have bigger and more lucrative fights to concentrate on like Fury vs Whyte? Isn't he going to be part of Fury's training camp?
So who's actually training Fury on a day to day basis? Kristian Blacklock is a strength and conditioning coach so it isn't him and I don't even think he's there every day. So does that mean that John Fury is training his son???
He said in an interview a few weeks ago that he'd fly out to the UK on March 6th, so he should be there now.
Shoot, it hadn't even registered on me that we're only six weeks out already. "Time is a jet plane, it moves too fast..."
Yes apparently him and joe Parker are working to keep ticking over. andy Lee also isn’t there. They are training each other apparently
That's hardly ideal. He needs someone who can look at tactics, styles, technique etc. Running and (in Fury's case) performing deadlifts with terrible form is not sufficient preparation.
Sugar is there for his experience, what Tyson needs to learn can be fit on to the back of a postage stamp. Andy Lee has been in Morecambe pretty regular ticking things over kronk style. As long as Fury is in shape, sharp and doing the rounds, Sugar will come to sweeten the brew for the last couple of weeks.
are you all on crack? Sugar hill literally arrived yesterday, he is in camp right now in the UK Fury doesnt need to train for Whyte, he has like 5 heavybags in his gym who replicate whyte perfectly
Sugar Hill already gave Fury the game plan over the phone, so the hard work is done. ''Be the Big Dog.'' ''Land the RH.'' ''Get this guy outta there. I like KO's.'' Hill looks like a con man who hit the jackpot. Fury walked into Kronk all those years ago and remembered getting along with him. It's not like Hill was some famed HW trainer or some such. It's funny how Davison gets attacked for Fury's condition and performance in the Wallin fight, when really it was just a freak cut that ruined that night. Davison clearly has a bs problem himself, but he didn't do anything wrong there. And trying to keep Fury at only moderate levels of fat is not a bad thing. A fighter is supposed to be an athlete. Hill brought a very fat Fury into Wilder II, and Fury took bombs and almost got stopped. But Hill is a Kronk genius.
