Is Grevonta Davis any better than Shawn Porter?

Related to the Porter part of what you said, you are right. However, punching power can make up for a lot of shortcomings.

Tank looks elite but it is so frustrating to watch him fight weak competition it makes it hard to gauge how good he really is

 

Gotta fight live bodies to even be mentioned with the one guy who fought everybody in their prime..

 

We will never know because he won't fight anyone with a pulse. Quite telling that with the Kambosos sweepstakes open, every top fighter around that division - Loma, Haney, Garcia, Stevenson - was throwing their name in the hat, except Tank

 

Tank has better power and is fundamentally better imo. Porter was pretty good when he was fighting but his style often made for bad matchups with his hug and maul type style. I prefer to watch Tank over Porter.

 

Tank is absolutely more talented. But that doesn't matter one bit. I'm not interested in a guy whos only goal is to milk the fans of their money.

 

It's an apples to oranges comparison. It would be fun to see now though, Porter trending toward shot and Tank would have a lot of fun eating 7 extra pounds of cookies.

He should have confidence that he would stop Haney and Garcia. I guess if I could get $$$$ to fight scrubs I wouldn't go looking for the challenges.

No idea how they make money on it though, who wants to pay for Tank vs Romero?

 

I would have loved to have seen Tank fight Pacquiao at 140 in PAC’s last fight.
