In reality I had GGG winning both however offically it's a win and a draw for Canelo.

    Both fights are VERY close.

I never got the story that made it sound like GGG won the fight 12 rounds to 0. It was a very close fight, both times.

First fight for me either a draw or a GGG win by a point.

Second fight for me is for Canelo by a point.

I wouldn't complain about any winner in the fight, it was razor thin.

    1-1 going into the trilogy

1st fight is a given for GGG

2nd fight had several clear rounds, but also had 3 rounds that could have went either way....DRAW

Looks like we are getting a 3rd fight sooner than later.....I don't think Canelo vs Bivol is happening.

GGG won both fights 8-4..people think the first fight was wider than the second because Canelo was on the backfoot. That's not the case and that's stupid to begin with, Golovkin won the rounds in fight 2 clearer than in fight 1 because he landed the cleaner more effective punches.

Really? For me GGG clearly won the first fight. He was far more active. That 116-110 canelo scorecard was insane.

Everybody knows your a bit brain damaged when it comes to Canelo.

    "Canelo only landed slaps"

That's why GGG wouldnt impose himself on Canelo in both fight, because he was worried about getting "slapped". Right? :touched:dope

    GGG won the first one

The second was closer. I didnt kick up a fuss when Canelo won to be honest.

No way could you make a case for Canelo in that fight, I do see the case for a draw, but I have scored it for GGG many occasions.

1-1 is fair even if I think Golovkin could’ve gotten the second fight, I can maybe (I haven’t watched it in awhile) see it for Canelo off of power punches landed. On to the trilogy.

    Thank you.

    My opinion almost exactly.

In the first fight Canelo had success in countering GGG and making him miss. He got outlanded though.

In the second fight it was Canelo who was being countered and being made to miss, AND he was outlanded again.

There are 2 reasons why (excluding outright bribery) that Canelo got the nod in the second. Firstly, he's the cash cow and it suits everybody to have him win and continue to bring in barges of money and Secondly, the whole "story of the fight" thing which is absurd. Canelo was the aggressor, and nobody believed that he could do that against GGG. So he got extra brownie points for that in the scoring. Meanwhile Golovkin hurt him twice and was boxing his ears off, but that gets ignored because 'OMG Canelo is pushing forward'.
