    Roberto Duran had 16 losses...

A-side was Oscar and he called out Pac. Pac was at lightweight. Was Pac supposed to go up THREE weight classes? ROFL!!!

Pac weighed in at 144 against Margarito — for a fight at 150. Margarito was in absolutely bonkers shape, shredded to the max, and was 17 pounds heavier on fight night. Think about this!

Yeah, I agree that Pac should have fought Cotto at 147 (same exact result), but Cotto wasn't drained and he was throwing w/ thunderous power in the fight. Those body shots sounded sickening.

Pac was a lightweight that routinely gave up 10-20 pounds to welterweights. He was a small dude. Clenelo was the bigger man fighting everyone at CleneloWeight (6 fights at 155).

What about when Nedal Skinny Hussein KO'd Pacquiao with a jab and Pacquiao was given a long count?

Floyd's resume is as good as a resume can be. IT'S AWESOME!! AMAZING RESUME.

It's so funny how he beat 23 world champions in his career, he beat 16 world champions in a row, yes, in a row, and still you have to read that his resume is weak.

    That's so stupid.

A cherry picker too. "The man who cherry picked world champions (some of them undefeated)", you guys could write a book, it would be a hell of a best seller.

Decent resume, but not that impressive.

He seems to be held to a different standard. Ex. He gets a lot of credit for wins over Hernandez and Gatti but those are somehow seen as throw-away fights for DLH.

So his win at SFW against Hernandez should be rated highly as Hernandez was the undefeated long term champion at SFW when he lost to Floyd. He was literally the champion at SFW for 8 years with 11 total defense with his only loss coming ion the one fight he fought at LW against Oscar. Similar in the way Manny deservedly gets credit for beating Ricky Hatton who was undefeated at JWW.

With that being said Floyd has a good resume and one thing that sticks with me is he never fought for a vacant belt. He received all his belts by beating the holder of those belts. That’s been a rare feat after 2000 since fighters been moving up so frequently..

You didn’t answer. What are your thoughts on Skinny Hussein being robbed of the KO victory over Pacquiao?

berto wasn’t no champion it was an easy retirement fight for a 40 yr old, Ortiz was a champion and the next highest rated welter after manny who turned down a fight and Floyd, and Guerrero was a mandatory to keep his belt who just jumped 2 divisions and knocked out 2 top 10 welters b2b.
    What exactly is the problem?

floyd chose his opponents by the watch. carefully chose them at the right time.they were usually past their best , or moving up in weight

Its a great list of wins.

While I take onboard some of the critique of Floyds victorys. You can do that with just about anyone and spin and spin and spin untill someones records or a particular fight looks negative. Look at someone like James Toney and the infamours Tiberi fight or Calzaghe Vs Reid.

Floyd beat some great fighters, did he stack the deck in his favour? Yeah he did but people got in the ring with him on those terms and he won against all of them.

Great resume one of the best of his era. Anyone who says otherwise is a hater and doesn't think he was any good anyway despite clowning over 90% of the fighters he faced in the ring.
