It's insane the low standards to get a title eliminator/mandatory these days..

Hrgovic - Beats Molina, and now gets to fight in an eliminator. I know he's not a mandatory yet, but the fact that he's even getting a shot at an eliminator is disgusting. Babic beat Molina, should he get a title shot? I know Hrgovic would have had to prove himself against a better fighter, but the fact that he's getting the opportunity is still mind boggling.

Joyce - Beats Takam, who even Chisora beat, and he becomes mandatory? He was even losing on pts against Takam as well, although I know you can argue Takam would have gassed anyway.

Trevor Bryan - If there's an eliminator for WBA, he'll likely be involved, as he's literally top ranked below Usyk. Who did he beat to get there? ****ING STIVERNE!!!!

If your best win is Takam, Stiverne or Molina you are far from proven. Chisora would KO all 3.

Joyce has beat some good names. In
Joyce has beat Dubois, Jennings, Stiverne, Takam etc. He's more than earned his title shot. Who exactly did Whyte beat to earn his number 1 spot in the first place Lucy's Browne.

Which one of those ****ing victories should entitled Joyce to a title shot? None of them are even ****ing Chisora quality.

Whyte's beat Parker, Chisora, Rivas. I could include Povetkin but he was in no condition to fight really.

Those 3 I mentioned above who beat the 4 you mentioned. Chisora beat Takam, who was Joyce's best opponent, Parker would obliterate any of those opponents you mentioned.

Parker obliterate them? You been watching his fights last few years he hasn't stopped many even people Dubois's stopped easily he's struggled with. In fact Takam vs. Parker was a very close fight that could have gone either way.

Rivas was well behind to Jennings til he got a last minute KO and Jennings was well ahead vs. Rivas until the stoppage.

Dubois would KO Whyte too and you forget Whyte was knocked out by Povetkin, nearly lost to Wach and deserved to lose to Chisora first time.

Fact that all Matchroom nuthuggers say he deserved a shot years ago but he's barely got a better resume than Joyce in 13 fights and you're all say he doesn't deserve a shot.

Parker's fight vs Takam was in 2016. Nearly 6 years ago now. Since then he's beat Ruiz, was unlucky vs Whyte has he had a headbutt scored as a knockdown and almost KO'd him. Parker has had his bad spells, but he's proven himself up there with the likes of Ruiz and Whyte in the top 10.

His most recent fight vs Chisora he was more dominant over Chisora than Usyk, Whyte or most have been.

Sorry but I don't see how you can argue than Jennings, Stiverne and Dubois are the same class as Whyte's best opposition. They're not.

Jennings and Stiverne shouldn't be in this conversation. Dubois and Takam are close to Chisora quality, but definitely not in the same bracket as Whyte, Ruiz, Parker etc.

What do you think about the idea of Hrgović Vs Joyce, then the winner Vs champion?

I think the problem is a lot of the division is just not active enough. I think Joyce is more worthy than a few other of the names mentoned.
I don't think you can blame indiciduals it's a problem with the division as a whole.

Yeah that is pretty bad...Euro level career Welter being dragged up a division.
Canelo is the best case study for taking gear in modern sports. Especially when we consider GGG was "Too Big" for a long time......well until he slowed down and was getting on a bit and the old Mexican beef started to kick in.
Now he can spark Super Middles and a Light Heavy (a broken one to be fair) and wants to go upto Cruiser to pick up a trinket.
Sounds completely legit to me.....nothing to see here.

Who would you like to see as mandatory challengers for those titles then?

I hear what you are saying, and don't disagree. Just curious to hear how you think it should be playing out.

Whyte's likely to fight Fury, yeah?? And if Whyte is booked, Wilder semi retired, Usyk in a war, why not Joyce for now? And as much as I like Parker, he isn't exactly obliterating anyone at the moment. Exaggeration and hyperbole do NOT make points any stronger. Opposite effect actually.
