It wasn't just one punch. It was the accumulation of punches and the brutal pace that exhausted Conlan.

I thought Conlan would rise to the occasion tonight, after some uninspired showings up to now, and he did. Wood was just unreal is all, walked through what seemed like dozens of good punches (Conlan showed he could hurt Wood several times) and human trucked Conlan with just a few grains left in the hourglass. I'm not 100% sure, I threw my scorecard to the wind getting carried away in the drama of the fight, but Wood needed the KO, no?

So Conlan was ahead on all three cards 105-102, 104-103, 104-103. With the 12th round in mind, Wood would have won a SPlit decision most likely. Solid cards.

Lee Wood 'Cobraed' Conlan with a 'im gonna keep trying right to the final bell' kind of performance. Conlan went up in my estimation as well by putting on a great boxing performance but, he just seemed to empty the tank the last few rounds.

MD if Wood wins the 12th without closing the show or knocking Mick down.

    Fans on boxrec hafd it
    102.31 Total 104.86

Yeah there was a punch that put him out for sure. He was fatigued badly but a punch ended it no doubt!

The right hand short circuited Conlan. It just landed at the right time when he was at his most vulnerable and his energy reserves were depleted.
