Smaller guys, but still would be amazing IMO.

However I'd advise the both of them to rest for 6 months before returning to the ring.

It was amazing, I'd be glad to see another. If anything, I think it was already a better fighter than Gatti-Ward II & III.

Wood-Conlan absolutely has potential to become a classic series. Dependent on Michael winning a return bout, of course.

Make it happen! Michael certainly deserves a rematch, and I'm sure it would do great numbers.

They need to fight first to compare triologies. WTF..

I'd guess Frankie was inviting our imaginations to visualize how a Wood-Conlan series would go, whether or not subsequent installments would come close to equalling the first (or even surpass it), et cetera.

Hard to say for sure whether they can recreate that kind of display, but it seems most of us would love to see the rematch. The only guys I've seen putting a dampener on the idea of a return bout are guys who had a heavy sectarian (loyalist) investment going into Saturday's bout.

Would be shocked if conlan lost the next two he'd learn from this surely he was clearly the better boxer maybe the fact wood didn't just lay down after the kd discouraged him a bit and he got complacent but who knows was hell of a fight

As a unionist I've no problem whatsoever with Wood flattening him again.

Great fight it was, on par with Gatti-Ward 1, but not sure how a trilogy would play out. Conlan took a bad KO, i think he would change the gameplan and box a little more in the rematch if it happens.

Which shouldn't be taken for granted.

But I'm glad you're signed up for Wood-Conlan II (some of your UDA pals don't seem as keen).

I've lived on the upper Shankill which is UVF territory so I wouldn't know any of the UDA lads

All joking aside, I very much would like to see a rematch. It would be interesting to see how much the KO has affected him because he was boxing Wood's ears off.

Conlan won nearly every round IMO but in a rematch he gets KO'd much earlier IMO.

Conlan is the better boxer, but Conlan cannot KO Wood, and Conlan cannot avoid Wood for 12 rounds
