    As far as freakshows go I’m sure this will be mildly entertaining at least. Forum member Billy Nelson also training Thor.

    Particularly enjoyed Kugan telling both men to “be safe” at the start of the interview when he was setting the ground rules.

    I think Thor will win this. He has had a few fights now against low level opponents and has done ok. Haven't seen Hall fight but from the training videos I have seen he looks even more dreadful than Thor. I imagine they will both gas early and it will be an awful spectacle.

    Proper freakshow but I enjoy strongman so have a vested interest in this and there is certainly a rivalry there.

    I hadn’t realised it was a free show, I’ll tune in if the time is convenient.

    It was an entertaining head to head though I wanted Thor to knock out Kugan when he kept on telling him to calm down!

    Eddie Hall has to be one of the biggest (literally) narcissists to ever grace the planet.

    Bjornsson vs Larratt was a disaster.

    My sentiments too.

    I think Eddie is a ****. Always has been. Thor looks to be the better boxer and Eddie's training methods aren't smart either so he's getting pasted.

    Yeah I agree with this. Thor actually tries to use boxing fundamentals whereas Hall is a totally comical boxer. The stuff that Hall does is honestly bizarre, the way he moves and shifts his entire body. He thinks he comes across as an impressive, fast, mobile boxer but he’s hopeless. He also does this thing where after throwing a punch he only covers one side of his head with his glove and leaves the other side totally exposed. I’ve been loosely following him on IG since the bout was announced because his boxing training clips have always amused me and he has made no improvements at all whereas Thor has been training properly with Nelson and has reconditioned his entire physique for boxing.

    Having said that, both of them really are shite and Thor has a tendency to keep his hands low so it’s not out of the realms that Hall will just land a shot over the top and knock him out. Something tells me Hall has a better chin than Thor. I can just see Thor getting totally polaxed like David Price.

    Ultimately will probably come down to who has the better gas tank.

    total waste of time.

    i wont watch it, but i wont pretend i wont look for the result after it.

    From the limited amount of footage ive seen, the clever money would be on Thor, but Hall is a bit of a madman, and it wouldnt shock me if he just kind of steamrolls Thor.

    But i couldnt give two shits who wins.

    Years ago, way before he was a world level strongman I followed him on Facebook. Then an ‘Eddie Hall also likes the BNP’ popped up on my feed and I unfollowed him there and then!

    Kugan ruined that, embarrassing, they should have got a professional in to do it. One thing Johnny Nelson is very good at is subtly stirring the pot during his sky face offs. The production, especially the sound is terrible.
