A fantastic test of Joyce's granite chin. But I think Wilder will win this by decision or by KO.

I don't see Joyce finishing off Wilder. He doesn't have the speed or skills to do it. He'll sit there in Wilder's firing line and take shots all night, probably getting knocked down.

Even if Joyce hurts Wilder, he wont be able to finish him off. Joyce is the slowest fighter I've ever seen. Wilder takes a lot to knock out.

Joyce would eat shots from Wilder all night. Wilder will be too quick.

    Wilder on points???

    Are you mad?

Sure he might win but it wont be a points decision with his out put

Why not? Joyce has no head movement what so ever, he could sit there taking haymakers and lefts all night, and he could get knocked down.

He is GOING to get hit, no questions asked. Joyce is taking some heavy punches in this fight. His chin is good, but how many Wilder haymakers will it withstand?

I feel Joyce will get knocked down if not knocked out. He's either getting KO'd or he will lose by getting his too much.

Wilder doesn't need to outbox Joyce, he will simply hit him and that will do the damage.

He may not win most of the rounds, but if he gets a couple of knockdowns that could be enough to get a decision.

Wilder can’t handle the Big Juggernaut. Joyce would dominate the range and even if Wilder did land his money punch Joyce’s granite chin would stand against it. Joyce would probably dominate the action in a some what underwhelming first couple of rounds. Then he would probably rally late and take Wilder out in the 10th by either KO or TKO

Don’t be fooled. Joyce’s style gives him a slow impression but Joyce can actually be very quick when he needs to be. I think most fans think Joyce is much slower than he is.

A gross underestimation (and misreading) of Joyce's style. Yes, his style isn't the most defensively sound, but he takes way less damage than his detractors and the average boxing fan realises. He's also so high output that he rarely gives fighters a chance to set their feet and throw, and Wilder is someone who needs space to launch his one two. Pushed onto the back foot he can't throw effective counter shots most of the time.

Joyce will do a similar thing Duhaupas did to Wilder but on a much more damaging level. Wilder will find himself constantly pushed back and off balance, getting his face smashed in by Joyce's heavy jab and taking constant cumulative damage from Joyce's body shots and clubbing shots around his guard. It'll be a slow and methodical beat down with Wilder possibly making it to the final bell but looking like he's been run over by a juggernaut.

I think most of his fans realise he can be deceptively fast. He's a bit like Makhmudov in that he fights at a slowish rhythm, but occasionally throws quick bursts of shots when the opponent isn't expecting it, and getting caught as a result.

I'm a fan of Joe Joyce but this is a disaster of a fight for him.

He's rugged, durable and breaks you down.... but being so static and easy to hit against such a ferocious puncher like Wilder spells disaster and in my opinion, he gets knocked out.

Fury could slip, move and take the sting out of shots when they did get thrown yet he was put down 4 times..... Joyce is far more static and gets hit far too often.

You can't take flush right hand after flush right hand by Wilder and expect to remain conscious.

The 2018 version of Wilder does a Braezeale on Joyce, but 2022? Would be interesting.

Wilder by KO Breazeale style. If Wilder is still scarred from the Fury fight - Wilder struggles to get a KO win like he did against Duhapas.

My take on Deontay is, he won't fight any mere contenders and will only settle for title fights. He probably thinks he's above contenders.

You think Joyce can take 30 minutes of getting hit in the head by Wilder?
