Extremely unlikely. Especially in these health and safety days!

No, nor does it need to. It's rare that I feel like 12 rounds is insufficient to determine a winner.

It's not a matter of "deciding a winner". 4 rounds is enough to decide a winner. It's about strategy, 15 rounds boxing is 1000000000x times richer and better than 12 rounds boxing.

Unfortunately (from the sport point of view) and fortunately (from the fighters health point of view) they will never come back. I dont see even a single tiny chance for that to happen, specially in the soyboys era. Any homosexual from the 80s has more testosterone than all those suposed "straight" idiots I see walking on the streets today. It is not safe enough, but even if it were, those soyboys would never allow it.

EDIT: for example, 12 rounds boxing is one of the reasons why the fights in the pocket have disappeared from the pro boxing scene, since most top level pro fighters can last 12 rounds with legs enough to stay out of the distance (or at least 10 rounds and survive 2). At 15 rounds, toe-to-toe fighters would have way more chances to win. Those 3 rounds have a HUGE impact in the sport.

For instance, ray leonard would have slept the nap of his life on the canvas had he fought 15 rounds vs hagler. No way he could have survived those 3 last rounds.

It would lead to more brain damage & deaths.
    Not necessary.

No. Was taken for safety if anything more likely rounds get reduced in some countries.

I don’t think it will because it’s not really necessary but it would be nice if they had it where it was an option between two camps to do either 12 or 15.

No matter how rough and tough you are you can't train your brain not to be concussed.

If 15 round fights were only for world titles and there was only one world title, that would be fine. You would have twenty 25 round fights a year (or whatever) and that's fine. But you're approaching double figures for "world" titles. You would be having 200 15 round fights a year.

    Not feasible.

Though I disagree on the matter of Leonard-Hagler, the above is the post of a true boxing man.
