If you had to go against a boxing champion, who would it be?

Well, if that's the case, most of the posters here (who are under the age of 40 and have sparred/boxed a bit) will have a great chance of escaping the death sentence.
All we have to do is to choose an old timer who fought in the late 1800s - early 1900s. He'd also have to be a flyweight or bantamweight so he can't hurt you.
I'm a welterweight myself, so I'm not exactly big.
But those on here who are big (over 200 lbs) should have no problem whatsoever with such a small guy with primitive skills.

My thoughts exactly. A small flyweight with primitive skills from 100+ years ago cannot hurt you one bit

You’ve got this John - he will fold like a cheap tent in the face of your steely resolve.

But you do know what they’ll say after you stretch Mike? - “Ah, Mike didn’t train, partied the night before, did the snort, laid with hoes, didn’t have Rooney in his corner, he was past prime, yada, yada”.

Just say’n’, be prepared, I’ve got a feeling that the excuses offered will go on for years and years and never abate……anyway, my money’s down, 10, 000,000 to 1, odds far too good to pass up.

Why would you openly choose to fight a guy you have absolutely zero hope of landing a punch against lmao

Lol Tyson would be the VERY last fighter I'd choose .
I like my head where it is.......
At 6' tall and about 220 lbs, any of the flyweight
champs , they'd box circles around me, in
a boxing ring, under boxing rules, but at least
I may be able to over power them. Grapple
them. Hold and hit. But I'm almost 60 yrs.
I'd need to end it quick .

Sure don't you have an 8" Ape Factor at 6' tall?
No way can Tyson at a 9" wingspan disadvantage lay a glove on you.

I wonder about those who seem sincere in choosing the likes of a Klitchko.
Unless they are a top HW or a masochist, they are delusional if they think it will end well for them.

I just cannot understand this..."it will end bad for you"?!?!?! The alternative is death. To save your life why would you give a **** who you had to fight? Just fight!!
And fighting is fun, it shouldn't be a big deal anyway, until you get old enough to know better.

I would be in my own skin first, and not in someone else's.
IFFF I were a boxing champion I would be someone like Lennox Lewis, who ended his career with a significant win at the end of his career.
I wouldn’t end a career like Wlad or Muhammad Ali (these are just examples, don’t take this as something concrete) with defeats (double).

I've gone ape a few times but not too often!!!!

Lets call a spade a spade - world class bantamweights would very likely run thru us lot like a hot knife through butter......on the same night.
