Any fighter that ever claimed they got poisoned before the fight, definitely happened

Probably the most excuse-free humble fighter i've ever seen, Deontay Wilder.

Don Curry- taking off lots of weight before Honeygan.
Mando Ramos- well pretty much every vice going, before Carmona.
Al Hostak - both hands broken early against The man of Steel.

Gustavo Ballas - he looked like he had 2 left feet in his bout with Jiro Watanabe. That's because of a wardrobe malfunction where he had to fight wearing 2 left boots.

Adolfo Washington - in his bout with Virgil Hill he had a cut and between rounds an overzealous camerman wanted a close up of the cut but inadvertently rammed his camera into Washington's cut, which caused a stoppage of the fight.

Danny Lopez - in his fight with Shig Fukuyama he suffered a cut and his manager Howie Steindler accidentally poured the cut solution into Danny's eye causing an immediate stoppage.

Cleveland Williams got ****ing shot and the doctors who operated said he possessed the most muscular physique any of them had ever seen and it is likely what saved his life. The bullet causes him to lose a kidney, part of his small intestine, and permanent damage to the right side of his hip. 60 pounds of weight lost he rebuilt his physique from the ground up and to varying success continued his career for another 6 years on and off. His loss against Ali was devastating to his image, especially on contemporary views but he fought Ali after being shot and was essentially a punching bag for a dancer like Ali. Before Liston, the biggest puncher in the heavyweight division at the time was Williams. And while Liston would annihilate him, is was a passing of the torch in my view of who the most

But most heavies back then were that size. It's not like the norm was to have 6'4 220 pound top contenders.

That's how Berbick lost to Tyson. Someone spiked his water. Otherwise, Berbick would have put on a boxing masterpiece.

Yes. Otherwise, Bert would have left Holyfield horizontal.

Barry McGuigan. Besides the heat, there was also a badly sprained ankle and a perforated eardrum to consider?

Carlos Zarate before his fight with Wilfredo Gomez? Not sure he was actually poisoned but was sick and then came into the fight weakened.
