Round 1 - Stoppage Avanesyan

Metz down once halfway through the round. Metz then gets a standing eight count. The ref doesn't like what he sees and stops the bout.

 

Metz came out unafraid but he had no chin.

 

Metz looked game and was landing on David plus changing up from orthodox to southpaw but David realised he could take the 181 boxrec ranked (that’s right folks) best shots and decided to unload and walk through Metz, dropping him twice until the ref waved it off luckily

 

metz started round 1 willing to prove that he does not respect avanesyan.

Well, not respecting avanesyan is a big mistake.

Avanesyan is wasting his time in europe. It's a shame he doesnt dare to face the world scene again instead. There is nothing left for him in europe.

 

It's nothing to do with daring. Like many Eastern Euro fighters, he doesn't get the opportunities, and he's been ducked. If he was American he'd have fought all the top welters by now.

 

well, he got the oportunity at the beginning of his career. Isnt it? but he was not ready.

I dont see why he wouldnt get this oportunity again. This guy is a beast, he's way over euro-level fighters. He belongs to the world scene.

 

That guy's dance skills are underrated. He got hit on the gloves mostly and still was all over the place. Avanesyan needs to step up the comp.

 

Time to fight benn

 

benn would rather kill his mother than to fight avanesyan.

And if he finds his balls and does it, he's going to sleep the nap of his life on the canvas.

I want for avanesyan better than Benn. I want to watch him fighting for the world chamiponship again.

 

He was like a bull in a British China shop. Can't someone get this man a decent fight in the US.

 

Funny how Avanesyan went from Russian to Armenian over night.

 

I could see smith getting dropped in the first round, spitting his gumshield out then getting stopped in the second round
