No Kambosos fight for Lomachenko. Kambosos vs Haney confirmed

Kambosos has a rematch clause that will have to be honored should he lose and that fight is also to take place in Australia as well. I expect that Haney will win both fights the defend in a big fight against Tank. Tank will win and never fight Lomachenko or anyone else of note other than Ryan Garcia who he will KO. This will be terrible for the division.

 

Kambosos v haney is NOT confirmed yet, it should be an easy fight do get done IF haney really wants it. Lets see

Who's he supposed to fight then? He isn't going to wait for Loma.

You don't want this fight because you know there's a good chance Haney will take the belts. And when that happens it makes Loma No. 2 and puts him out of contention for the foreseeable future. Rough set of circumstances -- I'd like to see Loma/Kombasos too -- but it's hardly Kom's or Haney's fault. Everyone is doing the best they can.

 

Kambosos would get plenty of title defenses if he had a big time promoter who put him in with the likes of Alfredo Santiago or shot Gamboa.

Haney will be coming to his own version of the Hot Gates.

The "Athens of the South" will be very hostile for him.

 

I really don’t get the hate for Haney as the opponent. If Kambosos is as good as he is then he should be able to beat Haney and unify. This is a great fight. Both guys have something to prove. Kambosos that it wasn’t a fluke win and Haney that he is as good as advertise.

 

I doubt he is going to be able to use the bone spurs excuse.

 

Yep Haney has no idea what he will be walking into if he does have the courage to come to Australia especially because of his behavior the Aussie and Greek crowds in Melbourne will terrorize him. Its not like when Jones. Tarver, Mosley and Pacquaio came out here because the fans respected them but Haney will be in for a rude surprise.

 

Kambosos is to be commended for taking on the top guys in the division. A division that is one of the worst offenders of ducking contenders.

 

He would get more boos than Dictator Dan

 

And to be fair Haney coming out of his comfort zone to fight halfway across the world must be commended.

 

I think fate stands in the way of Loma's rebuilding his path to the undisputed glory.

This is not happy news to hear, but I fully respect Loma's decision. He is a real gentleman.
