You've just written a three paragraph post attacking me for no reason, and you wanna tell me I'm triggered? Okay, sure thing buddy. How about you calm down a bit and then we can talk about why you've been repeatedly wrong, like adults.

Perhaps the next step for you is to make a thread announcing your departure from Boxing24 before popping up a week later.

Maybe one day you'll actually contribute something worthwhile to a discussion. Or perhaps you'll even know half of what you think you do.

I remember Curry giving him a hiding the first time around and on the ten point must system he’d have won. Weeks notice is what it is, where is your source? Benitez was on the rise and in perfect shape at this time in his career.

You might have scored it that way but it was close enough to be controversial both times around.

It’s not a bad thing, it is when you are trying to match there status and call him great. He was white washed as you say by both. He lost to some less then stellar guys to come to barely two years after Duran.

Moore and Hamasho (spelling?) got him quite badly after his final hurrah against Duran who was going to lose to Kirkland in his very next fight that should really tell you how much passion Duran had plodding around the ring that night against Wilfred.

His best win, is either a disinterested Duran two weight classes from home on the verge of losing to Kirkland or Tony? I don’t care if he was 12 when he did it some guys mature faster then others, he was ready it doesn’t bring up the status of the win.

He isn’t good enough in my opinion, I will dig my heels in on that.

He did manage to beat the top guy in two divisions the second guy in a third (although Palomino obviously wasn't the best at 147 h2h ).

They weren’t rated. I didn’t mention Pacquiao’s draw with Marquez and win over Nedal or Mayweather’s wins over Ndou, Sosa or Carlos Hernandez either.

That’s the annual, but Wlad had the fight with Jennings before Pac fought May and that should’ve switched them.

Ndou actually was rated 6 or 7 before mayweather fight.Sosa was thrashed by an inexperienced Miguel Cotto in a few rounds about a year later.

Thompson, ortiz,Robertson,Mamby, brooks and bizarro were all ranked in the top 10 at light welter in the 70’s when Duran beat them.ishimatsu went on a very impressive run immediately after losing to Duran including a win over Ken buchanan.Fernandez went on to beat Arguello shortly after which boosts the credibility of durans wins over both.

I recall vividly that Pacquiao was 3 before the fight.the only time 1 and 2 p4p faced each other in the last 40 years or so was when Whitaker fought chavez.
