I agree. Even if Joshua wins i wont give him much credit. Usyk isn't that old or anything, but he's been occupied by a literal invasion of his home country and Joshuas had much more time to train for the rematch.

It's not like Joshua's gotten significantly better whereas Lewis after the 1st Mccall fight did. We already saw prime Joshua vs near prime Usyk and Usyk schooled him. So if Usyk loses it's because of the war. End of.

Good news, AJ is not getting off that easy. My prediction for this fight - Pain.

    Good for him.

You can win against Joshua, can't win against Russia.

Usyk would be even more motivated to win since his boxing is more fuel for the Ukranians than 100 American tanks. So if Joshua wins vs this version of Usyk, he deserves all the credit in the world.

Let's be frank, Usyk wasn't really involved in the conflict in the same way as the Klitschkos and Lomachenko.

He was using it as a photo op and no way he's turning down Joshua money for Putin.

Yeah, he went out of his way to travel back to his homecountry after being called all sorts of things for being a native Russian speaker, clearly a deserter...

I really hope Usyk does get out instead of dying for this deranged Ukrainian government and its ''Western'' handlers. Because he really could die if he doesn't. The Ukrainian casualties are almost certainly way higher than our media is reporting due to their propaganda war.

Also Usyk is not a politician or politically connected like both Klitschkos. I would be highly surprised to see the Klitschkos actually seeing combat, and they have about as much protection as possible including constant intel from Western intelligence. But Usyk is basically a farmer and I could actually imagine him going into the field and getting killed as some measly rifleman that would have zero impact on the war.

Klitschko brothers, Usyk and Loma real warriors proud to fight for their country.

Full respect to every Ukranian citizen standing up and fighting the Russian scum even though the odds are heavily stacked against them.

When chemical weapons are used against Ukraine, hopefully all NATO countries grow a pair and join the fight.

No sense for Russians to use chemical weapons on a country they want to occupy and put under their influence. Any chemical attack will be a false flag.

anyway. Back to boxing, usyk can do more using his fame and money then just being another pair of boots on the ground.

Yeah because AJ clearly doesn't want to fight for the world titles.

This is the only fight AJ wants.

Pretty sure he rather fights a couple of lesser guys for the vacant belts instead of Usyk (very likely loss).

The belts are not becoming vacant. Nobody is forcing usuyk to take the fight now or lose the belts.
