That is the way I thought of the question. It's not who COULD beat Sugar Ray Leonard but rather who WHO WOULD WIN MOST LIKELY IF YOU DID A BEST OUT OF 10 OR LARGE NUMBER OF TIMES.

Robinson vs. Leonard, best of five, I think Ray edges it.

Just haven’t settled on which Ray.

Leonard had a better chin than Hearns that`s all.

Which is all part of ones makeup and part of the game. Foreman and Frazier would have stopped Ali if he had Norton's chin. Moorer would have beat Foreman if he didn't have huge power. Louis would have lost some defenses if he didn't have one punch power etc.

You just can't take that sort of thing away.

Floyd Mayweather. I knew people will disagree with this but I think Mayweather is smart enough to beat any fighter with the right amount of prep time.

Mayweather doesn't have the right style to beat Ray Leonard. Floyd's defense would always be a challenge but Mayweather didn't have the power hurt Leonard much. Floyd's punch volume was very economical at Welterweight
Ray Leonard's best division was 147lbs. He was bigger, faster and more explosive. In fairness I don't I don't give Pernell Whitaker much hope against Leonard either.

Obviously Robero Duran, I also like Kid Gavilan would have a great chance to beat Ray Leonard. The Kid could match Ray's speed and Leonard couldn't knock him out. It would be 15 rounds of hell.

Henry Armstrong is my pick. Be a great fight to watch, Hammering Hank gets a split decision.

I get what you`re saying but tyhere was a degree of fortune Leonard catching Hearns those few times and Louis had better fundamentals than Leonard who was just a great athlete.

No Hearns would have destroyed Floyd, no way could Floyd deal with a jab as long or as good as the jab Hearns had.

Nobody beats a prime Leonard. Unless you think the first fight against Duran was prime Leonard.
