Tim Bradley looks more like he's in that sphere than anyone. Prime Bradley literally looked like he could have competed in "Men's Physique" and been competitive enough to place. There's a lot of guys that are in excellent shape, big traps, etc......like maybe off season builders, none of them really look like they were "stage ready", Bradley looked "stage ready".
sort off..... Harold Johnson Ken Norton Hurricane Carter Bonecrusher Smith Jumbo Cummings Kid Norfolk Barbados Joe Walcott Bruno
Rico Verhoeven is the best Heavyweight kickboxer in the world and did have one Pro boxing match, he fights at 265-270 pounds and he's a long time sparring partner of Tyson Fury too: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Monaco and Carnera, as already mentioned, came closest to looking like the bodybuilders of their respective eras. Tom Sharkey as well. (At least below the waist.) Obviously, since bodybuilding has improved between then and now, Carnera and Sharkey no longer could compete with modern bodybuilders for size. No PEDs worth mentioning in their eras, for one thing.
If you mean, 'A boxer who really looks like a bodybuilder who's had to come off the industrial stacks of drugs for do-or-die health reasons'; https://i.postimg.cc/1RG4tkGV/3-B933-A03-72-B5-460-D-AB07-320-D56-D8-F670.jpg Nice tits, Dillian.
Not so much. Many have posted before & after photos, when he was weighing 186/187 at CW & at a listed 6/2 1/2", he did not look "jacked".
Right, but they did not train for mass, Carnera did not even eat very much. And some people who are muscular look even bigger than they are, due to things like relatively small joints, less mass on the lower body, & showy muscles + definition on the arms. For example just do the math on his height weight & body fat, Mike Weaver was not even more muscular than most he fought, just better definition. Holyfield was all upper body.
None. If you have seen a pro bodybuilder, it's not even close. Joshua wouldn't quality for any events.
Very few boxers are built like bodybuilders. Like most athletes they tend to have very blocky midsections or long torsos. Only one who was really built like a bodybuilder that I’ve seen was Mike Weaver.
