You think? Compare it to any other social media platform and you will see the bias. If AJ knocked out Usyk or even beat him he'd get no props ("Uysk was at war!" Etc). He just really cannot do anything to swing this forum the other way.
I mean, returning from a warzone after seeing your people getting shelled is a pretty valid excuse for a sub par performance in my opinion.
Sure they get **** but they also get praise. I don't think people have a problem with AJ, well he is a bit of an odd ball, it's just the nonsense that comes with him when it's clear to see how limited he is. You lot tend to take everything said so personally, tribal mentality that lacks objectivity. Anything that isn't high praise is seen as hate when it isn't but that's the society we live in now, everything has to be polarised. Ignore the extremes or find them amusing like I do with mitchy boy. It's not all that serious.
Eh Day Earn is a very likeable guy when you meet him but he single handedly ruined the boxing content on Sky Sports and scammed people for many Box Office events. That needs called out. As for the next coming of Mohammed Ali, known by Earn as Anthony Joshua, we have seen this man facing only 2 live tests in his career with a CV full of no hoper puddings billed as 'huge tests' and 50/50 fights. Joshua was never elite and never will be elite - he is simply a good British Heavyweight that took advantage of the easy routes provided by Tyson Fury being stripped of belts as a result of his significant mental health issues. He has never defeated a genuine World Heavyweight Champion in the ring only becoming a World Champion by taking belts from Paper Champions who in turn only won the belts through fighting for the vacant titles. When people fail to live up to the mass hype after making a fortune in the process, then it is quite right that criticism follows. Fury has earned his respect on the forum by delivering in the ring having held all 4 belts and still undefeated. A genuine man out of the ring compared to the Matchroom manufactured 'Humble One'. Earn is boxing's Dick Turpin and Joshua is the new Herbie Hide - nearly everyone can see it clearly.
He didn't scam anyone. Eddie Hearn did not run Sky Sports. Sky sports decide which fight is ppv on there platform and the fact you seem to simply blame Hearn shows the complete bias you have against Hearn. Not to mention ppv on Sky was happening long before Eddie Hearn rolled into town and believe it or not they were not all great. In fact prior to matchrooms exclusive deal sky stopped PPVs due to the rubbish being put on. You do have to ask if Hearn ruined the content on Sky sports so much then why the heck did sky want to renew the deal?
Exactly. The one big PPV I remember when Wazza had the reigns was "The Magnificent 7". Other than that he put out completely dreadful cards. And Maloney was doing the same as well. Eddie brought Boxing back to the masses with Froch and AJ. Hate on that all you want. Bit before he got involved British Boxing was dead.
I get you point but it's a forum, there should be difference opinions and debates ( it would be a boring forum if everyone had the same opinion and agreed with each other). I just try to avoid insulting and getting involved in slanging matches with other posters.
Earn had an exclusive deal with Sky Sports and the quality of shows on Sky Sports before this solo deal compared to the increasing decline in the quality of cards and fights was clear to even Stevie Wonder. Who do we blame for this? Frankie Warden, Mick Hen Essay or Sheik Dan Kin Ehan of Dubai. The answer is Earn is solely responsible for turning decent boxing on Sky Sports into turd over the period of his solo deal. PPV Loot is the answer to your final question and most of these 'Box Office' events were a complete disgrace scamming the unsuspecting public. Earn solely responsible for the decline and I must say that he has not been missed at all by Sky Sports now he is off to DAZN UK.
At least you back your opinions up with a complete analysis of CV dossiers on boxers from cradle to last fight.
Again I ask who decides a fight is broadcast on sky box office? Eddie Hearn doesn't get to make that call? Sky the broadcaster decide what should be on there ppv platform. Instead of blaming Hearn for scamming the unsuspected public why aren't you outside sky hq with pitchforks. Funny how the so called scammed public kept buying the PPVs. Afraid you do not speak for the hundreds of thousands and sometimes millions buying fights. Maybe ask yourself if you got it wrong and in fact the public are quite happy to buy fights on ppv.
