If fury does retire after this will you consider him Hall of Fame worthy? He would be 32-0-1.. & has owned all the major belts.. a loss to Whyte would hurt but say he wins ..

    WK
    Wilder x3
    Chisora x2
    Whyte
    Cunningham
    Wallin

    Etc

Solid resume , great trilogy, standout career moments, able to adapt his style, fought on the road , well know career comeback story, .. he's done it all really..

Wallin shouldn't be counted as a good win yet (no offense to him), but yeah, clearly he is HOF with Whyte win, even if not ATG yet. But he could retire and have the same tier argument as Bowe for ATG.

Of course, even though his resume is thin

I think he's threatening retirement to sell this fight.
If a Joshua or Usyk fight coming up for a boatload of cash,
he'll unretire quicker than Tom Brady (USA joke).

Half the posters on this site refuse to give any credit for other fighters beating an opponent moving up from a division 3-7 pounds below them yet 40 year old Steve Cunningham outweighed by 70 pounds is always listed as one of Furys top wins. Got to love it.

I little more time. People overrated fighters today a little quickly. He had good wins over Wilder and chisora and it looks good, but it is not yet top top notch.

While losses to to Chisora, Whyte, Wallin and / or Cunningham would hurt Fury's Hall of Fame case beating those guys doesn't help it at all. Beating Klitschko and Wilder matter a lot but I think he needs another big time notch on his belt to deserve the HOF. That being said, I think he undeservingly gets in anyway if he beats Whyte and retires.

I think the Wallin and USS additions have a lot to do with the trouble Fury had to dispose of them.
Adding McDermott x2 to the mix would probably push it too far, so we probably won't see that anytime soon.

With that, he made such a mess that Charles Martin could become the heavyweight champion.
Charles Martin Vs Vyacheslav Glazkov fight for the title of world champion in the heavyweight category 2016 :(

Yeah, but the same can be said for Vitali causing Stiverne vs past it Arreola to be for the WBC strap.
    S__t happens!

I’m still in disbelief that anyone is quoting a Fury retirement like it’s even remotely possible.
