facts. haglers resume is just as suspect aside from tiny 135 duran who was up before the last 2 rounds, hearns who really did nothing at 160 and leonard coming off that 2 year layoff and eye injury ****.

Yeah compare nowadays fighter to one of the 70-80, such a great comparison at usual. Boxer back there was way, way too open, and swing way too wildy, which will be hard countered by most decent boxers of nowadays, which are way more discipline.

But yeah sure Hagler will berat GGG. :D

So could Triple G and he'd keep that jab on little hagler all night and hit him with the right when he leaps him with his lunging jab. Hearns did have hagler buzzed and triple g hits harder at 160

Good chin, jab and decent power but his resume is thin. You would think H2H he'd do well, but he struggled against all his best opponents (Canelo, Dev and Jacobs)

I was over Khan losing after Garcia 2012. Never was a true welter. He had his time in the sun briefly.

Fury losing to Whyte I'd never live down.

Old fighters like Hagler, Hearns, Leonard and Duran were also overrated in terms of their resume (they were obviously very skilled)

Hagler's best wins were: welterweight(Hearns), arguable win against inactive welter (Leonard), win over lightweight Duran. The idea that these guys all fought each other is ridiculous considering there was always some heavy opportunism going on. I cringe when I hear "back in the day all these guys fought each other"

Canelo and GGG are naturally at least one weight class bigger than Hagler. That counts for something especially given they are both skilled
