    At Supermiddle?
I's it a bad fight for the Hit man, against one of the greatest fighters at this weight.?

Joe would easily batter and stop the defenseless hurt-man of 1989

This is how one would describe super middle Tommy

    slow
    round
    heavy
    lethargic
    faded
    tubby
    punching bag

He had very little to offer and was no longer a force to be reckoned with. the threat of the Hitman was long over with

Hearns isn't getting KO'd via slaps

Calzaghe had respectable power, and for the timeframe mentioned (88/89), a 'slap' might be enough.

Yet He beat Kitchen , Olijadea , Leonard and Hill (At Light heavy) at Super middle and
above . The last 3 known for their speed. What were they if Hearns was
all the nonsense you wrote. Or are you just being ridiculous.

Hearns beat a very similar style as Calazaghe
had when he beat the bigger, possibly faster
Virgil Hill. A great jab nullifies a opponents quickness
and angles if used properly . Hearns jab was 2nd to none.
The threat of his right hand kept most of his opponents honest.
I wouldn't count Hearns out against Calazaghe .
Hearns by close dec for me.

he barely got by Kinchen. He looked like a wreck and he barely managed a draw with Leonard and i think he got even more banged up in the Leonard rematch than he did in the fight with Kinchen

    Michael WHO???

It might as well have been Michael Jackson he was fighting

and Hill was the most overrated fighter since Don Curry but without the hype

Uh, I can't see Joe Calzaghe knocking out Thomas Hearns.
It's okay for Joe to win by points.
And if I bet that a knockout will happen in the fight of Joe Calzaghe Vs Thomas Hearns - then I would bet that Thomas will knock him out.
If the fight is in 15 rounds, the chances for Thomas Hearns are even higher.
