    Define reasonable.

Very much open to interpretation. Warren isn't taking Whyte to court over something so ambiguous.

Mate, as long as DW doesn't do anything to promote the fight, Warren will take him to court and will take his purse. You do know who Frank Warren is, don't you!?

Forget layperson definitions of 'reasonable' and what you consider is ambiguous. DW's lack of promotion is worth literally millions in court, and any businessman will take advantage of that. It's free money (albeit with some legal faff).

DW probably thinks he's playing hard-ball, but his team are explicitly briefing all-and-sundry saying he's deliberately not promoting the fight. This is madness bearing in mind he's signed a contract holding him legally to reasonable promotion activities.

All Warren has to do is the very bare minimum and DW will either fold and get chewed up by Fury and the press during the promotion, or continue this kamikaze course of action and end up losing a chunk of his biggest purse in court!

As I said the bout agreement is a WBC agreement. If the WBC are not saying Whyte isn't being reasonable then his all good.

The idea Whyte will lose his purse for not tweeting or attending a press conference is laughable.

I'm not saying Whyte should have to fight for less than he's worth. Frankly he's being paid precisely what he's worth, it's a career high payday.

The % split is a complete red herring because we don't know what Fury is being paid.

It's not really.laughable though is it? This fight is worth tens of millions of dollars and if one of the fighters is trying to actively sabotage the promotion - then of course there's going to be some terminology in the contract to protect against that.

Examples will be used of Whytes promotion of his previous bouts and it will be compared against his "promotion" of this event to see if he acted reasonably.

And yet here we are talking about it. One could argue Whytes silence and the discussion around it has contributed to promoting the fight.

It would be decided on precedent.

    You'll be surprised

I know people that have worked in his House and have to sign all sorts before commencing work

Leaving them wide open to lawsuits

Warren loves a court date, its like a jolly boys outing to him

Thats now how it will be viewed in a court case.

Judges will look at what fighters have done in previous fights to determine 'reasonable'.

Warren loses nothing by taking Whyte to court either. If Whyte is the one they believe is breaching contract and Warren is doing everything that is 'stipulated in the contract', then Whyte has to prove he's not been breaching the terms.

Be a few thousand at most and if it means he's getting a few million back from Whyte, he won't care.
