Callum Smith is rumored to be fighting Mathieu Bauderlique on the Usyk vs Joshua undercard

I'd rather see Callum Smith vs Beterbiev than Yarde vs Beterbiev.

Yarde is tried and broken in LHW. Let's see how good Smith really is.

Don't sleep on Bauderlique. Decent enough fighter at Euro level, not a big hitter but a tricky workhorse southpaw...and tough (don't ve deceived by the KO1 loss to Dragan Lepei...that was after 2.5 minutes of Mathieu dominating from the opening bell and making an overconfident mistake amateurishly blundering into the cornered Romanian-Italian and eating an overhand right that put him down hard, and then having the ref wave it off after he beat the count on a poor judgment call. Pretty fluky stuff.

Having said all that, Mundo by stoppage is probably the bookmakers' favorite outcome and could well be what happens, but on an off night for Smith the Frenchie could give the Brit hell.

 

Has he fought anyone recognizable? Any recommendations on bauderlique's fights?
