Stiverne was a tough guy though; his only stoppage defeat prior to that was widely regarded as being premature and Wilder was the first man to drop him I believe, although it wasn't counted. It's also why they made the rematch: Wilder and his team wanted him to stop every man he ever faced. The Stiverne fight was mainly impressive because Wilder (who had previously won all of his fights within 4 rounds) proved he could box for 12 rounds against a skilled, hard-chinned and big punching opponent and win a near-shut out decision.
Stiverne made similar excuses after every loss and poor performance. If he was dehydrated it was due to getting the sh*t punched out of him for 12 rounds by Wilder.
Strawman. Let's be honest: only three (or at a stretch four) of AJ's wins can be argued to have aged well and the Povetkin win only aged well at the expense of the Whyte win. Wilder's record has aged very well by comparison.
If "fine wine" is some kind of new slang for "stinky ****," then yes, it is aging like the finest of fine wines.
If I was to compare Wilder’s resume to a wine, it would be what the Australians call GOON. It comes carefully packaged in a respectable looking box. However, a closer look quickly reveals the packaging hides an inflated sack of poor-quality wine that has been fermented with pig guts and all manner of shite. In summary, you should remove Wilder’s grapes from your mouth. This content is protected
This is a great lead in to Fury's resume. So before Fury ****ed up Wilder will you do Otto Wallin next??. Keep it up OP..
Bumane Stiffverne is absolutely useless on the front foot. He was making shot Ray Austin look like prime Larry Holmes for 9 rounds, until Austin collapsed from exhaustion in the tenth round. Wilder was teeing off on Stiffverne, pretty much at will, and still couldn't stop him lol.
Stiverne is better on the front foot than the blob who dropped AJ 4 times and made him quit and way better on the front foot than the dangerously obese untrained mess who turned up to collect a paycheck and take AJ the distance in their farcical rematch.
