Kambosos vs Haney finally official. Look for Fa v Browne and Ahio v Opelu on the card.

I am looking forward to seeing Kambosos silence another one of the four queens at lightweight. I don't rate Haney as high as a lot of fans seem to I seriously think that Kambosos is going to give him a beat down.

I think stylistically Haney is a much better fit for the Emperor than Lomachenko was. I hope each and every person from this thread tries to get to Melbourne for this one. It's seriously once in a lifetime stuff.

Wear your goggles if you are sitting ringside because some American glass is gonna get shattered at Marvel Stadium.

Doubt i can get time off mate. But ill see what I can do. I have a few friends down there that would be keen to go.

If there is a rematch it Sydney I'm there. But I don't think there will be because Haney is going back to the U.S with an email belt missing from his carry on.

Hello Australian boxing aficionados. Relax. It's just me pointing out that we're a day away from the 4-year anniversary of the birth of the Stifler's Mum thread. 3 March 2018 was the date of stiflers mum's last post. This thread was created by @IntentionalButt a month after that. It's been going pretty good I reckon, averaging more than 100 pages a year, a bit less than 100,000 views a year & more than 1600 posts a year. I reckon by the time we knock up 5 years, we will be averaging more than 100,000 views a year.

My other reason for posting was to finish off my thoughts on who Timmy Tool Train should potentially be using for sparring now that he's reached the big show. I was critical of what his team arranged for the Gausha fight but it's worth acknowledging that they have used / are using some of the best guys available to them. Certainly domestically if not internationally. It's supplementing the best of what he currently has available to him with some decent international opposition that I think needs to occur.

For a Tony Harrison or Jermell Charlo fight, Tim should be sparring with orthodox guys who are quite tall. Locally, there's the Headsplitter & Cesar Mateo Tapia who are both 6'0. We'll get a better read on the Headsplitter's skill level when he faces Zerafa. It would be good to supplement those guys with blokes like Terrell Gausha, who's 34 & 5'10 and Charles Hatley who's 36 & 5'11. Both have been active lately which is important.

For an Erickson Lubin, Timmy could use locals like Conor Wallace & Paulo Aokuso who are both decent southpaws. Lubin is long-limbed so a couple of light-heavies with a bit of extra reach would be useful. Austin Trout & Patrick Teixeira would be good internationals to bring in for sparring.

For Brian Castano, I'd add Lenny Zappa to the likes of Hardman & Tapia for local sparring. He's a similar height & strength to Castano with a busy style. I'd also be looking at Sergiy Derevanchenko who is 36 & 5'9 as an international to bring in.

A number of the guys I've mentioned are getting on & might be past it (although not necessarily as useful sparring partners). That's where his team needs to do their homework & bring in guys who are going to give him some decent work. Scouring the Middleweight division for likely types will identify a few.

Top shelf posting as usual @Sandman_ .

There is some great local talent Team Tszyu can utilise to help him prepare but to get him to that next level of preparation an experienced import is necessary.

If he were to face Castaño may I add Jason Mallia's name into the pot for sparring. At least for the earlier sessions before he really sharpens up.
Jase is around that 5'6-5'7 height and is well built.
Multi time and multi weight Aussie am champion with some international success.
